It grabs like a Gator
It has unusual properties before it sets the glue expands, so you need to be careful near the edges of what you are sticking together because the glue will erupt out and when it has set it is very hard.I can truly say after 35 years of DIY this glue is a find, this glue becomes your best friend, it will stick almost anything to anything, it is not for delicate work, but it is invaluable for all else. The most unusual thing I used it for was sticking 10 A3 laminated sheets together to produce a massive waterproof banner for a charity fun day, it was still together at the close of business despite the wind and rain through the day.I was over the moon when I could get it on Amazon because it is the kind of thing you always need in a house.

Brilliant
This glue is brilliant. I followed instructions, sprayed a little water, applied glue, it does expand as other reviewers have said. I clamped the item together and sure enough within half an hour it was stuck without clamp then left it. I mended a broken wooden fence plank and painted it as soon as it was stuck. Also glued plastic. I'm sure it would stick anything it's just brilliant.

Sticky, messy, frothy
Seems to be good glue. Like all polyurethane glues- is does froth up after initial adhesion. Very sticky to remove excess around joint when wet. Very messy, if you do. If left, to go hard- excess does come of with a chisel- reasonably well. But this is an extra job, that you could do without in a big project- I would have thought. PVA is easier and less messy to use- but this glue is waterproof ( not all PVAs are) and has, it claims, better grab adhesion. But Evostik Blue ( a OVA glue) is also waterproof- so on balance is my prefered choice to this glue. However- If you are building a boat- I then suspect this is the one to go for.UPDATE- Jan 20- just used this in an area where it was hard to apply pressure across the joint. Worked very well. Still 4 stars though, not quite 5, because of overspill/ expansion out of joints.UPDATE 2 August 21- got this off the shelf to do a job. Just like new. No setting and dispenser tip still works well. Used it on a ceiling bracket- made from wood- that had crevices between laminated section of the project. Worked a treat. Expanded into all crevices as expected. REMEMBER to wet one side of the job with water- then it works the best.Iām sold on this glue now. Still sticky, messy and very frothy- but working well.5 stars2nd update - 16/10/22This glue is seriously growing on me. And I still have the original bottle going strong from 2020. It is everything above, but undoubtedly better than I had thought. . It is quick to set, & it is in fact. V easy to remove excess with a sharp chisel and then any excess sands easily to obscure imperfections- even better if you are going to paint over it.And it is truly waterproof- for outdoor jobs.

Excellent on stone and cement
I use this to stick down flag stones that have come loose from their mortar substrate. If the flag and the substrate are still intact a zigzag pattern of this stuff sticks them back and they stay back. This actually needs moisture to set so the fact the flag is damp is a benefit.Be warned it expands so make sure you don't go too near edges or it'll ooze out.

Gator Glue
Purchased this on advice of an electrician who recommended it for repairing the casing of an outside light. The glue expands and fills in any gaps left in the gluing process. Very strong glue and has worked a treat.
