I got this because I wanted to stop using the tiny bottle of topcoat I got with my beginner gel set and was not disappointed. Really easy to apply, the brush is really nice and glides on the nail well, and it has a thick enough texture to be solid and stable, but liquidy enough for ease of application.Do make sure you are wiping off the brush before using it, since this brush and bottle pick up A LOT of product when you first take the brush out. The polish glides down the brush well enough for me to be able to apply it to about three nails before I have to dip it again, which is a plus for me!Overall, cures well, applies well, looks glossy and self-levels incredibly well. Very pleased with it!

The Beetles Gel Polish No Wipe Gel Top Coat is a solid product. It dries nicely without leaving any sticky or tacky layer, which is exactly what I needed. I bought it specifically to use as a top coat for carving gel polish, and it worked perfectly for that purpose. The finish is smooth and shiny, and it holds up well over time. Flawless! Great shine and smooth application! My first time applying gel, and I’m very happy with the results. I used semi cured nail strips (Polish Pops) and added the clear coat to give them a salon quality look.

As far as matte top coats go, Beetles Matte Top Coat is excellent, and is very competitive with the performance and look of others in its price range on Amazon. It goes on smoothly and settles well, and after curing leaves no streak or shine, and has no stickiness to it whatsoever. It smells the same as other gel polishes and top coats - nothing stood out as smelling off or particularly different. Compared with the original color (before applying the matte top coat), the color seemed to stay true - it kept the color's richness did not look faded or washed out. For the price of this matte top coat, it's an excellent value!I tested 6 matte top coats in the same general price range on Amazon (including this one). To conduct this test, I applied 6 different matte top coats to 6 swatches that had already received two coats of gel polish (I did NOT remove the dispersion layer from the gel polish after curing). Then, I applied one coat of each matte top coat to each swatch (using a normal sized coat - not super thin, but not thick either). I then cured each for 90 seconds. I kept a control swatch so that the colors could be compared. I included photos of the overall test, and a photo of the control nail and this matte top coat. There were some very subtle differences among them, but overall any of them (including this one) are good matte top coats.I would absolutely recommend this matte top coat!

The best top coat. I’m so unimpressed with other top coats. I find most to be too thin. This one has viscosity. And then it’s superrrr shiny like glass. I use my UV lamp and I use this over my press ons.
