Asus trusted brand..!!
If you want sound boost than board sound it’s not gone do that . But audio clarity is perfect true natural sound . Average user won’t feel the difference. I purchased for only optical output support . Output through optical and 3.5 are same . Again it will only upgrade clarity not loudness.

Pretty good sounding
I also have a creative soundblaster vx 5.1 but this one sounds naturally better (also because of the 24bit/192Khz option). Also it is louder in headphone setting than speakers setting because of the amp. There are three settings (low/mid/high) for the headphone amplifier output. My 50watt speakers are loudest so far due to the amp output. You can go for it, its the best sound card in budget.

Very good for gaming.
The sound quality is very good you can hear every footstep. I brought this because after long use my HyperX fury headphones sounds got very slow so I used it as a solution rather than buying a new headphone of same price. It would be better if it is priced under 2500.

Worst product
Tried many ways to install driver but no luck, very worst product only two channels are working. Don't waste money...

Only good for headphones
Good for headphones but not supported on 5.1 home theater. Produces weird sound on my 5.1. I want to return but this item says cannot return per Amazon policy. Better try creative ones. They sent a defective one and just got it replaced after a month and it worked amazingly.
