Beadalon3-Piece Tool Kit, Ergo Style

Nice set. Designed for a small hand.

I got these about a a year ago and have been using them almost every day for my little jewelry business. They are still in perfect condition (the cutter is a little blunt at that point, but it's taken a ton of abuse cutting all sorts of wires) and they're super sturdy. Comfortable grip, handles don't slip, the pliers are unaffected after a whole year. This is the only kit I own, along with the Beadalon Bent Nose Pliers, so that's all I use. I'm really happy with my purchase.Edit: going on five years now. Still as good as new. I've made thousands of pieces of jewelry with these. Replaced the cutter, but the pliers are solid.

The chain nose and needle nose pliers are excellent. The cutters are useless. They don't cut wire or beading wire.

My hands, they don't work as well as they used to. Warranty has run out and you just can't buy an extended warranty on hands at my age. I don't want to replace the hands but I have started replacing the tools that I use to do the things I enjoy. These tools are smooth to use, have a nice grip and do what they are supposed to do. Unlike my hands...

This set of jewelry tools is amazing. They are durable and I love the spring back feature. Very easy on arthritic hands. The price was really good too. The inside of the chain noise and bent nose are flat so there are no marks left on the surface of the products. That is a great point!

not as sturdy as I thought they would be

The cutter is bad, very bad, can not cut straight and ruin the wire. I should pay attention to other review and now I need to buy another cutter.Other two piece is working fine even though it look much cheaper then the picture and the craftsmanship is bad. I was very disappointed.

nice set of pliers, good firm grip, holds wire firm, easy to use

After a lot of reading and watching Youtube reviews I chose this mid line brand and model that seemed perfect for my small arthritic hands. I can't express my disappointment when the first thing I noticed was the word India etched on the plyers. The workmanship is simply unacceptable. The metal parts are unevenly polished, scratched, nicked and have what seems like rust in some places. There is unsightly yellowish glue spillage between the handles and metal parts and I can see daylight through the cutter edges when closed. The round nose pliers are not quite round and the spring clicks every time I close it. The grips are comfortable, but pockmarked and dirty. This is blatant subpar quality and as a beginner jewelry maker, I will never purchase their products online again.

I decided to purchase these after a great deal of research. My heart sank, however, when I saw the words "Made in India" on the packaging. And sure enough the quality of workmanship on these relatively expensive tools is appalling. On two out of the three tools the grips on the handles were already peeling away. These are complete and utter rubbish and Beadalon should be ashamed to put their name to them.
