Good Choice for homeless epidemic in Portland Oregon and Washington State
Nice Gloves. The US economy is booming, unemployment numbers are at their lowest in nearly 50 years...yet the streets of Portland Oregon, CA and Washington State which are ever increasingly likened if not worse than third world countries measured by cost of clean up. (CA spends $30M a year for needle and sidewalk "waste" cleanup in San Francisco) In Portland the homeless do what they can to endure the cold and violence by curling up under bridges, along freeways, on sidewalks. In warm weather the homeless by choice leave for climates while the truly helpless cannot escape from the elements, and violence. Shelters do all they can. Death by hypothermia took several lives in downtown Portland last year. Hats and gloves are lost or stolen needing continual replacement. I witnessed a Portland Police Officer stop and tenderly speak with a man destitute laying in the gutter, what a difference that can make...a tender tone and word of hope. The truly helpless on the streets are subjected to the cruel lawlessness of the city they need kindness and hope deserving human dignity not to be subjected to the days political violence because they are stuck. These gloves are good quality for the price and will help endure. A word of hope, a Bible or tract to read, new gloves, hat and socks handed to them in a plastic reusable bag with a caring smile could make a lasting difference in a life without hope. Temps in Portland over night are nearing the 30s.

Useful and inexpensive
These are not the gloves you need for walking an hour or two at 20 below zero F. These are the gloves you need to keep a pair or two in every car, locker, gym bag, etc to keep your hands from getting wind burn when your car breaks down, you need to make a fast dash to the mailbox, etc. They fit all but the largest hands. You can shove your hands in your pockets with these on and feel for your quarters for bus money. You can also give them away to someone else in need. They don't last forever but they are cheap to replace.

Full Disclosure
I allowed my 87 YO mother to use my only pair of knit gloves to keep her hands warm as we walked around the property. She loved them meaning I would never get that pair back. No problem. I bought the twelve pair pack and I gave mom one of each color. Gave my grandson two pairs, and my daughter a few pairs. That left me with some nice gloves to wear on walks during crisp weather. I do not miss the original knit pair mom kept and I am glad they, and the four pairs she received via Amazon Prime made her happy. I use these for walks in cold weather where a set of heavy gloves causes sweating. Great Product. Highly recommend.

Nice size and thickness
I purchased these to pass out to the homeless and others. They are not super thick, but they are nice. It's a great price for the number of pairs you receive. Colors are nice. They fit just about everyone and keep hands warm. Depending on where you live, they may not be warm enough. I'm in a part of the country where it gets cold in the winter, but not much snow or too cold.

Horrible. One washing and the first and second pair are in shreds.
A, these are not warm by any stretch of the imagination. Got them just to use when I go running - couldn't even keep my hands warm on a 20 degree morning on a non-windy day. Second, the quality is extremely low. I washed two pair of them, and they are now falling apart. Also, barely fit my average size adult male hands. Would not recommend these at all.

Warm, comfortable, shareable!
I ordered two boxes of the black, adult gloves, one for each of my sons families to give away this winter. One of my sons families brought their two boxes to a camping area the homeless in their town were using. He said the gloves were gone in minutes. From personal experience, I can tell you I layered two pair to build a snowman, shovel and go for walks with a husky in single digit temps. They fit my hands comfortably, but stretched to accommodate my husbands much larger hands quite well, too. My hands stayed warm and dry the whole time and I was able to use my touch screen with ease. There are far less satisfying ways to spend $25 than by picking up a box or two to share with people in your community who might be feeling the cold right now. Highly recommended!

Yes, this product works on touch screens!
I read several reviews saying that these gloves don't work on touch screens (like smart phones). I purchased the multipack and can confirm, that yes....they DO work on touchscreens. I have a newer Apple iPhone and they work great. Also, I am a male with medium sized hands and they fit perfectly. If you have large hands, you probably want to look elsewhere.
