And it's a great deal. Here's why.1: The holder is way overbuilt and there is no chance that it will fail.2. The tippet is made by Rio and is of the highest quality. The tippet purchased individually is more than the set3. It looks really cool.4. The tippet has bands around them to reduce/eliminate spools from misbehaving. They lock them in, allowing you to pull out the exact amount of tippet without worrying about you spool spewing out 5 feet of line. They show the tippet size on the band which makes it SO EASY. It even has a small cutter on the side.5. The holder is made of aluminum and will last forever.Don't hesitate to buy this. You'll be happy that you did!

As described. Can't beat the combo price. Items purchased separately cost more, so this is definitely a good savings if your in the market for some tippet and a holder. As pictured. There's room left for additional spools as well. Spring loaded retainer pull at end of gold spool-bar to open it is strong! This won't pop open unexpectedly without "significant" force. Easy enough to open, just strong enough it won't come open or be pulled open on it's own. Has two tight fitting rubber washers to hold the position of your spools on the bar, and I mean tight! They'll definitely keep things in place. Amazons packaging sucks in that it was in a zip-lock baggie and in a box with NO protection/padding that could literally hold 12-15 of these! One of my biggest beefs with Amazon is packaging. 95% of the time things are thrown in an oversized box with little to no padding and flop around inside. Since shipping costs are based on size and weight, I'm simply baffled over this. Nothing's ever been destroyed, but I've had a couple things beat up because of this poor practice (rant over).That said, don't let that stop you from getting one of these tippet holders/dispensers! This thing is AWESOME!

Handy as can be!

Giving this 4 stars only bc the bands that hold the line are NOT the ones in the photo. Bought this bundle bc of the ease of dispensing line through the grommets in the elastic, received regular rubber bands. The spool holder is otherwise legit.
