This was my first time using any resin, and it couldn't have been easier. I bought this brand because of the reviews along with the fact that it's food safe. It's hard to tell in a picture how the resin looks but trust me, it looks good. I followed the very simple instructions and I am very pleased. I made sure my room was well ventilated but there was no odor at all. My very smell sensitive husband even confirmed that there was no odor. If you are new to epoxy resin, or just want a high quality finish this is the kit for you. One important tip is to have a small torch ready for popping the bubbles. I used my small kitchen dessert torch. Easy peasy!

I bought 2 sets of this epoxy 5 years ago when I installed my tiki bar. Only used the one set so now 5 years later I decided to redo the tiki bar, I had this epoxy left over and figured what the hell go ahead and try it. They say shelf life is a year and I had this for over 5 years!! Figured I had nothing to lose but look at how awesome my bar top looks!!!
