I bought this as a replacement for my Toshiba Satellite C655 which had a 48Wh battery in it that when new lasted about 2 hours with the power scheme that I have set on the laptop. This is a 58Wh battery and lasts about 2 - 3 hours with the same power scheme setup. The old battery was absolutely dead and unchargeable and this one is like new again, so for under $20 I am happy. It was a bit more snug than the original, but installed easily enough.

The battery arrived quickly and seems to work fine. I've only had it a couple of weeks. The life of it seems to be good as well. The real question will be how long (in terms of months) the battery actually lasts.

It fit as promised and works fine. It did not arrive charged and was a little confusing about fully charging then discharging then you use it. Ultimately the battery seems to hold a charge just as described.

I just started using this battery with my old Toshiba Satellite laptop. I went through the new battery conditioning, discharge to 2% (it actually dropped very quickly from 10% to 5% then shut off, I think the power usage was too high and it had an undervoltage) then charge completely. I did a second cycle with low power usage once it got close to 10% to get as low as possible without undervolting due to apps running. It still shut off at 5%. One more full charge and testing the discharge rate, it's going at about 20%/hr with no apps running. So probably 4-5 hours maximum powered-on time, but based on the earlier higher loading, I'm guessing no more than 2 hours of usable run time. Not great but at least I can use the laptop without the fear of it unexpectedly shutting down due to the power supply coming out or unplugged.

This battery was a great fit for my satellite Toshiba. It has as much or more battery life as the original and is plug and play, meaning no software required. The one drawback is that I can't get it to stop losing some life when my laptop is turned off completely. Some settings in windowsc10 cause this but I have turned those off and it improves the power loss but did not solve it. This could be an issue with my laptop or an issue with the battery. I am unable to tell for sure.
