No. This is not the answer. Get a K&H buck grunter. You won't regret it.

First I wasnt buying it because it has a compass but the picture and description says it has a compass. No compass. Second it says inhaling also produces a sound. I may be missing something but all it does is close the reed and stop me from inhaling. It produces sound exhaling but not inhaling.

First off i live in oregon and hunt blacktail and mule deergot setup in my stand about an hour before daylight.didnt like the way it sounded so i adjusted the o ring and then i only got it to sound like a doe bleat. a doe dying by torture.i live primos and i think it would be cool to hunt with cuz and wil primos but guys this one sucks. you ain't calling anything in with it. Also please note i dont like doing reviews and this was emailed to me so i thought id write one.save some money

The call works but is not as advertised! Will try it out tmw and see how it calls them in. They need to change the description that mentions the compass.

Stopped working 2hrs into my first hunt and continued its crappiness on my next 2 hunts as well, the smallest amount of moisture from your breath and it stops working. Absolute garbage dont waste your money.That being said, if and when it works it does bring the deer in.
