I bought this backpack for a gift for our daughter and son-in-law and they took it with them to Joshua Tree park for an overnight and a rock climb in the morning. They absolutely love it. The large pack itself is insulated for food and/or wine, the blanket fits right on the side, and there are plenty of separate places for phones, chargers, and anything else you might need on a romantic outing. The bag is made of a heavy canvas so it should hold up to lots of off-road use.When the recipients of the gift get back from their trip, I'll add their opinion of the back pack. For the money, this is not a cheaply made backpack. It has well-made flatware, plastic plates, a corkscrew of course, a tiny set of salt and paper made of stainless steel. I'll give more details after I see how it's been used.Honestly, this is going to be my go-to present for any weddings I go to, birthday parties, housewarmings, any time I need the kind of gift you've always wanted but never buy for yourself. I will have to get my husband one for Christmas because I'm already imagining a concert at St. Michele winery on the grass under the stars . . . .

I pack this baby up anytime I go for a day trip or a road trip or just a picnic or a drive. It makes picnicking or eating on the road that much better. I felt a little extravagant getting it, but now I don't think I would want to not have it. Well made, sturdy, everything in good condition, plenty of room!

My girlfriend and I go hiking and kayaking a lot. This pack is a life saver with plenty of storage space, good insulation, and is built pretty well. The silverware and plates that come with it are durable as well.

A beautiful backpack picnic basket and great for what we needed. I only gave it four stars because the blanket is very cheap and almost fell apart in the washing machine. I hung it to dry but it is small and cheaply made. The napkins are also very small and cheaply made and I would suggest swapping them out for others. It is a bit heavy even without picnic goodies in it. It is large enough to hold plenty of food though so that was a plus. The inside area holds ice very well and keeps things cold for a good amount of time. Well made overall.

I bought 1 for each of my 2 daughters and was with one when she opened it. Both adored this lovely gem of a picnic backpack that is filled with charming things like a cheese cutting tool and wooden handled utensils. It has a nice thermal compartment for food, a thermal holder for a wine bottle (or a coffee thermos) and a rolled up picnic blanket. They each used words like “super special” and “classy” to describe this gift. I’m very pleased with my purchases (and they were too). I foresee some fun outings in their futures.

Liked the idea of this and thought it was pretty cool. The bag arrived and looked like it had MOLD on it. It was all over the bag.Wish it had been checked before shipment. The blanket that came with it is very poor quality and the handle ripped within 10 minutes. Overall, cool idea but pretty disappointed.

So, this is my second one to order. Both have been wedding gifts. First one went straight to the bride. The second I wanted to wrap myself. I opened the box and was so pleased. I love the quality of the back pack. Looked over the plates and other items and I was very happy. (I want one for myself now.) BUT! I noticed the blanket wasn't rolled well so i opened it up to reroll it and it was TORN. About 6" of the material torn. Problem. I am wrapping it for a wedding tomorrow. So disappointed to give it without the blanket but I will have to. Ordered a replacement and I hope the blanket is good on the next one. Sure makes me wonder about the first one. I doubt anyone would complain about a gift.... sure hope it was in better condition.

The picnic blanket tore when repacking it after first time use. I also found the straps uncomfortable and will not recommend using the unit for a long hike to a picnic spot.
