I used two of these arms along with ball clamps to connect a underwater strobe light to an underwater camera handle,They worked perfectly on a diving Holiday.

I found these very uncomfortable, but in fairness they held the balls very firmly.

Although after looking through the complete ad it becomes clear that the instrument is for attaching camera equipment the opening line of the ad caused my nine year old to ask whether guns could fire underwater
