Martin Guitar 000-15M with Gig Bag, Acoustic Guitar for the Working Musician, Mahogany Construction, Satin Finish, 000-14 Fret, and Low Oval Neck Shape

For reference, I've been struggleing with a Yamaha Eterna EF-10 for over 30 years. The Eterna is pretty much a dreadnaught shape, and the strings sit high on the fretboard, especially at the higher frets. Granted, I could've had some work done to correct that, but I'm a lousy guitar player to begin with, so I never thought to do so, especially on a budget guitar. Enter the Martin 000-15M. Beautifly packaged, first off. All kinds of protected with premolded packaging material. Then, the guitar is packaged inside of the gig case, so there's some extra protection. The gig case is nothing to sneeze at; it's well-constructed, sturdy, and it pillows the guitar every step of the way. The guitar is a beauty. It's very understated, but the sound, oh the sound. The sound is well balanced. Some have noted it doesn't project much. Maybe that's the case on-stage (although plenty of folks buy this model for perfomances), but for a more intimate setting, I wouldn't want the volume of a larger, more combersome guitar, and sound-wise, I think this stacks up just fine. It plays like what you'd expect if you're going to spend this kind of money. It's easy to finger and still sounds precise when strumming. In the end, this is a guitar that will likely make you want to jump in (or jump BACK in) the game and do the work of progressing your skills. Yes, I'd recommend it to a friend, and aquaintance, or anybody who reads Amazon reviews.

Absolutely beautiful guitar! I bought this for my husband to replace his previous guitar after reading every online review for recommendations about the best guitar to buy for him. This guitar is far more beautiful than any other guitar I’ve seen anywhere else - the matte finish, the color, everything detail is immaculate. It sounds beautiful of course as well. The first time he played it I was afraid I’d made a mistake because it sounded tinny but then I found out this is normal with new guitars and now the sound is probably the most beautiful guitar sound I’ve heard yet. My husband is so grateful and loves it so much.

I get worried at times ordering something I have not tried out. I took a gamble and this guitar is great. I installed a Martin under saddle pickup in it and it works great. I also really like this guitar has a slim body but still great sound. My only little issue with my guitar is the frets in some sections seem higher than others. My fingers get stuck on raised frets. I believe I can have it sanded or filed down but now it's further cost involved. I also requested a hard case for this item and offered to pay more for the hard case but I got no response from the seller.

I'm a beginner at guitar and I'm great at researching so I chose this Martin and boy is it nice, sounds wonderful and easy on my fingers. Was perfectly tuned when it arrived. Just love it

Looks like a well loved and old guitar. Plays like a Martin. Very clear through the middle register. Good for strumming or picking.

I love everything about this guitar. I read allot of stuff saying that this model is aimed more at finger pickers, and it does sound great for that, but it also sounds great for regular playing as well. The setup right out of the box was pretty darn good too!

I've wanted this guitar for 4 years now and finally pulled the trigger a week ago. I lowered the action and put on some new strings and it's ridiculous how easy this thing is to play now! It's smoother than a taylor! The sound is rich and warm and very unique. It smells like heaven and feels perfect in your hands and lap. If you're going for a flashy guitar don't buy a Martin but if you're going for a guitar that's main goal is sound and comfort buy this beauty!

期待通りの音で満足。 購入した個体は、トップがプレーンでバックが縮杢。見た目も良かったです。 ただしセットアップがされていないため弦高調整とフレットのバリ除去をしなければならなかったので星4つとしました。
