Sturdy, very very lightweight, great windbreaker, I carry it everywhere with me in my bag.
The only thing that bothers me is not one single pocket. Other than that, it's so packable, I carry it everywhere. Lightweight as all get out, great for being caught in unexpected rainstorms. I wouldn't use it as my main raincoat in a rain storm I was wanting to be out in for a while but this is great for carrying around all the time 'just in case'. The color has some darker patches on it , which look like stains but I haven't stained it. I don't care about that though. Zipper works great. If i had it to do over again I'd get one with at least one pocket in it but hey. I wasn't thinking. I have no intention of every getting rid of this jacket as I rely on it heavily for peace of mind. As long as I have this thing on me my phone /wallet/etc won't get wet!

Stay dry, use this jacket
Immediately wore this to a rainy football game and it kept me reasonably dry. Water repellent material worked as advertised. It was also light weight so it didn't feel bulky. Looks nice and the blue color is nice. Fits as advertised.

Great lightweight coat for many activities but could be more durable
I bought this as a lightweight and non-bulky alternative to a raincoat for a very specific, rugged outdoor hobby (hammering rocks in a quarry to find quartz crystals). It has served me very well so far, in the several months I’ve worn it on rainy days. It’s ultra lightweight, dries quickly, packs very small, is easy to clean, and is a nice fit/cut to wear over layers or just a tee without being too oversized. The hood is a nice shape for keeping your head dry without blocking your eyes. The other raincoats I own were either too nice to get dirty, too thick and hot a material for a full day of strenuous activity, or too hard to clean and dry. Ponchos fell apart within a couple hours. So this has been great, with my only disappointment being the material seems to have begun to wear and rip a bit. I will keep wearing it because I don’t want to throw away something made of artificial material so relatively shortly after I bought it. It has been great for hikes and trips in addition to mining and comes with a handy little pouch it can be folded into. Also importantly, the zipper has held up well in a gritty, dirty environment where most zippers get ruined right away.

THE Poncho to Have
This is an incredible item at an incredible price. I highly recommend it. Someone broke into my basement and stole my backpack with all my camping gear in it. Accordingly, because I hike an awful lot in all sorts of weather, I needed a new poncho. When I went online, I was overwhelmed with all the choices. I was also flabbergasted at the prices for a poncho (!) I called my son, who also hikes the AT, and he immediately recommended Frogg Toggs. Helene was on its way, so I hit “purchase” and the package arrived the next day. I have worn my new poncho three times this week in torrential rain. I swear by it, and I am going to buy several others (which you can easily and inexpensively do at this incredibly low price) for my car and my office and any other place I can think of. Lightweight, comfortable, repels water, and the blue I bought is highly visible in the rain to cars and people. Nuff said. Buy one.

Waterproof light and comfortable
I bought this jacket for a hike in Mount Rainier national park just in case it rained. It rained for three straight days. This jacket with my light fleece under it kept my upper body warm and dry. I didn’t opt for the rain pants but used a rain kilt instead. I am very happy with the weight and performance. It has a loose fit which helps with ventilation. I live in Utah so for most hikes I don’t need a raincoat. If I lived in the Northwest I would invest in an expensive raincoat for hiking but for my purpose this was just right. I highly recommend this with the caveat that you should not expect durability. Light, cheap and effective is a good characterization.

Poorly made waste of money
I must have fallen for the FROGG TOGGS hype but unfortunately found it poorly constructed. The hood tore off while putting it on for the first time. Total waste of money, l was so disgusted l just threw it in the trash rather than go through the hassle of returning it. It does not even deserve one star.

Lightweight
Overall: a good buy if you need cheap, lightweight water and some wind protection. Pros: This item is lightweight and folds up well, so it is easy to pack. Definitely waterproof and a good windbreaker as well. It survived the Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland--going behind the falls and kept the wearer dry. Cons: Not necessarily a con, but it is lightweight, so you need an extra layer of protection for cold temperatures. The material is canvas like, so it makes noise when you are walking and in high wind.

Great waterproof rain jacket!
What a deal! It fits a bit bulky, but that works for it to fit over a jacket or sweater. The value is incredible, as it is a COMPLETELY waterproof jacket. The zipper is absolutely fine for this price. I would highly recommend for those wanting to pack ULTRA light, and stay totally dry.

Very light and portable, but fragile so treat with care.

cheap, light, waterproof, yes you tear them easily, but a duct tap is enough to repair them
