Good lights, very bright!
These lights are actually very bright! They look great and were easy to install. Yes you have to splice the cables so YouTube how to do it and it will be much easier!

Inte-GREAT-ed Tail light
Good fitment and good wiring. Long leads to work with. You will need weather stripping and or foam strip/insulation to take up the spaces around the light assembly. The Factory light has this but this unit does not. Also unless they did a PERFECT job on yours, you may have an LED or two slightly off angle. I had one but at the height of other drivers, the lights look complete and full. Be sure you get the proper resistors or flashing unit. it is not the voltage that's the problem, it is the length of time the flasher interval is. Too fast and the lights actually look dimmer when flashing. My unit had a very light smoke to it instead of the clear I though this was. Turns out it looks great. We will see how it lasts but unless something fails in the actual electronics, I expect this to last. Well sealed unit good fitment. I say give it a try.

Great product for the price
Great product, easy to install. Looks fantastic. I only wish I knew what the 2 whites ceramic boxs are for. Maybe resistor boxes? Fast shipping etc. Very happy with my purchase!

Looks great, far from bright
Looks great on my sv650, but the light output is terrible compared to OEM. Turn signal function does work and I didnt need to use the ceramic resistors that where included. May need to if you dont already have a LED flasher relay. If you are going to buy, get the clear one as you will have better, still not great light output.

Cool product, could be better.
Works great, and was relatively easy to set up. It's a bit of work removing the old lights (don't throw it out, you'll need the soft washers for the installation of the new part) but the electronics are pretty simple. You'll have to unplug your turn signals, but since I bought this to replace them it wasn't a problem. I wish it were a little brighter, so I suggest buying a clear version as opposed to the smoke color.

Looks pretty good, especially with the undertail
I installed this together with the Hotbodies undertail. They go very well with each other. Just like some of the other reviewers mentioned, some of the LED bulbs aren't quite in alignment but the overall look is good. You should grab some weatherproofing tape and do some research on YouTube or whatever before you pull everything apart.
