Great Bumblebee Transformers figure
I hesitated long before I bought this. I was afraid I would be dissapointed because of the quality, color, and transformation difficulty, which I read from reviewers before. After I got it in my hands I was very pleased. The quality is good, it has diecast parts, and the plastic is not fragile. The color is great in person. The transformation was not easy for the first time, but I watched video reviews on Yotube, and they helped. After you understand it it is easy. The posability is good, the gun, sword, and battle masks are great too. The shipping was fast I got in a week from USA to Hungary. Ok, it is not the same look as in the Bumblebee movie, but the movie is made with CGI, and this is a real transformers figure. I recommend this figure for all Transformers and Bumblebee fans.

Absolutely Love It
I was very skeptical about spending so much money on a 6 inch tall figure but oh boy I’m very happy with it. The plastic feels very high quality and never feels like it will break (especially during transformation). The paint applications on this figure are spectacular. The yellow on the whole figure looks very good while it fades to almost an orange color near the bottom of the vehicle mode. The transformation itself is very cumbersome and complicated at first but it gets easier as you do it. His feet and parts of his upper torso are die-cast so he is quite hefty and stands very well. His accessories came out very good as well. Keep in mind this is NOT a toy for kids as they will find it impossible to transform him. Definitely for older teens and adults.

Amazing Bumblebee for the new movie!
UPDATE: I feel the need to address all the negative reviews. This Transformer is not a toy for children. It is a highly engineered collectible for older kids and adults who collect Transformers. It is the same size as other Masterpiece figures that have sold for around $80. The regular retail Studio Series Bumblebee sells for $20 and is even smaller and much less detailed. I am still happy to have this figure in my collection. This is an amazing figure for older kids and adults. My only complaint is it was hard for me to get the car panels lined up well in vehicle mode. This Bee will definitely be on display in his robot form. The detailing in the robot is truly a masterpiece. I was amazed to see that there are diecast parts. The accessories look nice in place and in storage. The battle mask doesn't look as clean as I'd hoped. Overall, I am very pleased with the figure and highly recommend it.

A definite Masterpiece.
Amazing figure. Solid in bot and alt mode, great details and paint, accessories fit great and store properly, good heft and in-hand feel. I found the transformation fun and intuitive, you can tell where things go if you take your time and pay attention (you can do it without the instructions, believe!!). Tabs and slots line up, pins show where parts rotate, parts fit in specific places. Knee and head articulation are the only things that could be improved upon, and possibly an ab-crunch. Well worth it, even more so if you can pick it up for less than $80.

Very Cool for collection display
Lets start this off with not for rough play. I am a Gen X living childhood through the 80's so Transformers were a big deal. My memory of the toys were greatly exaggerated and a major oh yes recollection of how limited they moved when in robot mode. The MP and MPM line is very impressive. This MPM-7 is high in detail and coolness, also high in complexity to transform meaning takes some patience. I have had not issue or concern of something breaking but if one forces things or rough plays I can see it breaking easily, my childhood self would have broken this. My Peter Pan Syndrome self today loves it and feel any one looking for a display piece and something to transform now and then or pose for cool photos etc will also love it.

Misleading reviews
Absolutely wonderful. Love him, love the detail. I have the other Bumblebee from the previous movies and this definitely measures up. To all the negative comments on this; it is a collectible, not a toy intended for small children. It is expensive because it is much higher in quality and detail than the typical toy line. If you’re looking for that, maybe try Target or something. This is geared towards older fans looking for something special, which is exactly what it is.

Confusing Instructions but definitely a Collectors item
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who's a HUGE old school transformers fan. He LOVES it. He's had similar figures in the Masterpiece Series, and yes the instructions are extremely complex (50+), and are only pictures and arrows, but he tells me it is true to the quality of the Masterpiece Series. Be forewarned it may take multiple attempts and many hours to decipher the instructions to make a successful transformation, but it's beautiful. My boyfriend has been at it since he got it and he's so close to a complete transformation! Money well spent. This is not a kid's toy. Definitely a collectors item.

Not good for children to play with.. good for a collector..
It is made cheaply... not able to transform properly without having to use force and have the pieces break off. Manufacturer thinks it must he a user error, but if ur like me.. a person who has bought multiple transformers from all ranges of prices, types, and sizes... u would know that some transform with ease and some are just designed poorly.

I'm in my mid-thirties and decided to buy my first transformer since childhood. With my kids, we loved the new Bumblebee movie so the character was set. So I was looking for the best Bumblebee transformer toy on the market and Takara Tomy MPM-7 came out as the winner (based on numerous reviews and videos). I was excited about the toy and didn't mind the higher price or even that its transformation is complicated. However, after receiving it I've spent two hours over the instruction manual, checked all the videos and despite that was not able to change it to a car (the other way around its easier). I don't think that I'm lefthanded (I hope), I love tinkering with staff and even the following day with huge enthusiasm I've tried to do the transformation and the day after that without success. What is frustrating is that all are small plastic pieces which with enough force broke, however in order to put the car together, you need to use force, check out some of the videos on youtube, guys are struggling to put it together. So with great disappointment, despite the fact that the toy looked cool, I had to return it, there is no reason to keep it if I'm not able to change it to a car. So if you are a collector and want a great looking bumblebee transformer that will just stand in your collection this is the right toy. But if you are expecting to use it at least a few times a year, then don't buy it.

Not sure is it a good idea for kids instead of for personal collection
