This has a great scent. It definitely seems to be pure essential oil that will do well with making candles or to add to lotions and deodorants. I love that it came with a dropper. I would definitely purchase again.

My room smells a little musty bc of summer and I keep my door shut during the day. So I wanted a strong scent and I found it. I love it. I hope you do to if you try it. PS I also have cats and a dog so I also need it for that😁

This essential oil is excellent quality and works perfectly for making tallow lotions and soaps. The scent is pure, strong, and blends beautifully without being overpowering. It mixes well with tallow and other oils, and the fragrance holds up nicely in finished products. A little goes a long way, and it’s become a staple in my homemade skincare recipes. Highly recommend for anyone making lotions or soaps!

I bought this oil before, and the scent was amazing with sweet notes, but I'm very disappointed because it smells like a burnt tire or burnt engine. It also lasts so long... literally, my package arrived, and I used a small amount on my hand. Omg, it lasted the whole night; even after I took a shower, the smell was still there. It could be good if the scent were pleasant, but it was not. And it lasted for so long.

I'm no stranger to Majestic Pure essential oils and oil blends. I have many of their oils and use them quite often. This is my third order of sandalwood fragrance oil and, I'm sad to say that I am very disappointed this time around. The first two orders were fantastic. I really liked the smell and used it, satisfactorily, on my hair and in homemade products. The order I received today was not even close to what I was expecting. The bottles look the same. The seal was not broken and nothing was damaged. This order smelled very stale and almost like a camp fire. It's not a strong smell at all and feels sticky. I like the camefire smell when I'm camping but not when I'm expecting the lovely fragrance of sandalwood. My first order was of darker color. This order and the second were the same color but the fragrance differs tremendously. Maybe it was improperly stored or maybe this was a bad batch but I would be afraid to purchase another bottle in the future. I gave this 3 stars because I was highly satisfied with my first two orders. I would have preferred a very perfumey smell instead of the campfire smell for sure. Hopefully, other buyers will not run into this issue. Majestic Pure has been a good company in my opinion; however, this batch was not a good reflection of their quality control. It's a gamble and when you don't have money to lose, the stakes are big. Update: I ordered another sandalwood from a different company, Now, and I want to be fair. Upon opening the bottle from the different company, I was stunned and not in the best way. It had even less fragrance than this last bottle of sandalwood from MP. I knew it was a 14% oil blend and not the fragrance oil so I assumed it would have a stronger smell especially since I have many of their other essential oils and haven't had any issues. I was wrong. I thought MP's sandalwood was subtle, and it is, but not nearly as subtle as the Now I received. Although my last bottle of MP smells like a campfire, it does have a very slight hint of floral as an extreme undertone. Also upon closely examining the bottles from MP, I saw that my first order says it was made in Mayanmar, the second bottle says made in Germany, and the last one says made in USA. All three of them smell differently, but the last one, made in USA, has the weakest smell of them all especially in comparison to the two I first ordered. Essential oils vary in color, strength, and scent based on location and climate so it's possible that the last bottle of MP sandalwood I received was different because of certain conditions. It's still a gamble but a least I know that it could be worse. I took the few drops I had left of my second MP sandalwood and added a few to both new and very subtle bottles of sandalwood to help with the lack of aroma.

I’ve tried other brands and I have to say I like this one more than others so far. It is a small bottle for the 10$ but the quality is great. Super sweet smell this one bottle can be added to a big jar of coconut oil while in liquid form mixed well and can last months as a lotion and deodorant combo. Receives tons of compliments

Just what I was looking for. Plus it has an eyedropper for an application to my diffuser. Came well packaged. Very satisfied and would order again.
