tumble dryer working again
Our tumble dryer didn't spin unless I was pushing the drum when starting and then working normally for the full cycle.This capacitor arrived the next day in great condition, the capacity was a bit larger having 7.5uf instead of 7uf as advertised and as the old one but it's been working great since over a month. I replaced the capacitor on our Candy Grand vita 9kg, if you have to remove the drum like I did bear in mind that it's not necessary to remove it completely just enough to reach behind as you can see in my photo.Great product and cheap to fix at home!

Repaired tumble dryer
Fixed by replacing old capacitor. Worked perfectly and was cheaper/ quicker delivery, than parts website

YouTube DIY does it again
This worked perfectly following a YouTube tutorial that made it look easy to repair my tumble dryer, saw someone else’s review saying they did the same. The hard part was getting to the part on my machine and making sure I put back everything back the way I found it, I always take photos at every step so it’s easier to work backwards putting it all back together. I now have a working tumble dryer.

Revived my Candy tumble dryer
Same brand, size and rating as the failed one I removed from my Candy tumble dryer that had stopped rotating. Managed to fit the part without totally dismantling the machine - just removing the top and front - but it's still a tricky job and you need to make sure you note down where everything goes.
