TowleT546601 Arctic Single Place Teaspoon

I appreciated getting an email from the seller saying that these spoons are slightly different from the originals, not surprising as I bought my original sets back in 1996. However, you have to look closely to see any differences besides the stamp on the back. I am very happy to fill in my missing pieces. In my photo, the new spoon is on the top.

These are not the same as Towle Arctic replacements that I have ordered previously (which looked exactly like the originals). They are approximately the same shape, but they are plain metal with no engraving on the back side. They are shiny metal that looks almost spray painted. I'm not going to return them, because they will obviously work, but they are quite different from the originals.Purchased January 2016

These are truly simple elegantly designed flatware by Towle. I got mine 20 years ago when I got married and they still look nice on the table today.I only hope I can continue to find them as Pottery Barn has stopped carrying this design. Thanks to Amazon for continuing to carry the pattern!

These are tough to come by. So it is great to have a couple extra in the drawer as they are discontinued. My teenagers have a tendency to leave them around the house from time to time, so more is better.
