Great transformer, sturdy, intricate looking and fun for the user. recommend
My nephew loves these toys, he carefully selects which ones he wants and I send them off. No news is great news, a HOME RUN. Great for young ages or older. recommend this transformer

Optimus Prime
I was sick when I opened up the package and seen it. I didn't dream it was the small version of the toy. I could of gotten the exact same toy at Walmart for the same price or cheaper. It was a total disappointment.

Impossible to transform
Even with the 17 item instruction sheet to tell you how to transform the toy, it is impossible. My son still plays with it but he always wants it back into a truck and we just can't do it.

Transformers Voyager - Battle Blades Optimus
Purchased as present for grand son, who absolutely loves it. Grand kids just can't get enough Transformer products. Would recommend to others.

Small, but Movie Accurate Enough
I got him online. Optimus' blades and guns are a very cool combination; they're better than my DOTM Optimus. The movie detail should also be noted given his size. There are a couple of problems. First, the arm panels always pop off when I transform him; it's a pain to reattach them everytime. Secondly, the Matrix gets knocked off of its holder during transformation. Thirdly, I need a toothpick to get his head out of his chest everytime. Lastly, I don't know if it's just my figure, but the front of his truck mode is just very difficult to pull apart. Of course, I don't mind any of those flaws; he's my favorite voyager because no other character comes so close to being movie-accurate. I highly recommend him for anyone who cannot afford a leader or ultimate class figure.

Not a good product!!
We were disappointed in this product. Not one of the better Hasbro products. Came apart within first week. Doesn't transform well. Disappointing.

good, but a few minor issues
Bought this guy the other day and overall I'm pretty happy with it but there are a few things that could have been done a lot better.* the blades are poorly mounted... they swivel open & closed which is nice until you realize they conflict with the blue plate on the bicep when trying to move the arm when closed. Would have been better if they clipped on or something. But I guess it being called Battle Blade Optimus it's meant to be more important than anything else or something. Frankly after checking out the way they did the blades on the Payload (also from the same line and also a Voyager class figure) I'm kind of annoyed with the lame job they did on these. Personally I just popped the blades off of mine. Thankfully they will slide on & off of the pegs with very little effort.* The forearm pieces slide up & down to expose the hand, but when slid back they can often conflict with the same bicep piece. Not necessary to slide them back to use blades or hold guns but it looks ridiculous.I originally thought there was an issue with the red chest piece (in vehicle mode) sticking out to far to allow from proper ground clearance when the legs fold under but it pegs into the legs. After reading J.J. Owens response to my review I took another look and mine had plastic barbs in the peg holes not allowing it to peg into place properly. So you may have to cut the barbs out if you experience this same issue. It also seems like they did a few parts for no real reason... the rear wheels that rest on the hips of the robot mode have a peg they attach to but there's no reason to unattach them unless you want to swivel the thigh. Almost like it's a lock to keep the leg from spinning below the hip as it serves no purpose in the transformation instructions. One cool little detail is that there is a matrix of leadership that pops out of his chest... not the real matrix (80's kid here)... but that funky looking one that looks like they stole it from an Arabian prince or something.Overall it's a cool toy & it has a lot of ball joints so it's pretty decent for displaying and you can get the kids one since for the most part any pieces they can break off just pop tight back in no problem.

Best Voyager OP
I was so impressed the first time when I got this figure in my hand. The color looks nice; the matrix of leadership is an awesome design; the battle blades are classic; and the transformation is very fun. The only downside for my figure is one of its knee joint is loose and always fell outwards. Overall I recommend this figure.
