Excellent French made knife
Excellent oyster knife, sturdy, reliable and very nice looking, gives feeling of being professional

Probably a great knife... for European Flat oysters.
It is a handsome, well made oyster knife. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is meant for European Flat oysters (which I knew before hand, I just wanted an oddball for my collection) and I actually don’t know if it is a great knife for that style of shucking (valve shucking) considering I’ve only shucked American and Pacific oysters, with a hinge shucking technique. It’s fun to play with but be aware the tip will most certainly bend and/or snap if you attempt to pry the hinge open.
