Your washing machine screws may not fit (Kenmore)
This exactly replaced my broken exterior trim ring on my 8 yr old Kenmore front load washer. No fault of this product, but the door hinge mechanism design is weak and flimsy. Anyway, I remover my cracked trim ring, but WAS NOT ABLE TO to use any of my Kenmore's original screws. They would not fit this replacement product (too long, would not tighten down before hitting "bottom"). So, be prepared to find 8 slightly shorter screws for trim ring, and 2 shorter screws for door's latch prong assembly. Fortunately after hunting all over my garage and 1 storage shed, I came up with all the screws. ONLY THEN, did it go back together perfectly.

It works
A $10.00 piece of molded plastic (one star deduction). Watch a you tube video before disassembling door and replacing the outer door panel (technique is very simple and can be used to replace any of the door parts).Spoiler Alert, take the door off the body of the machine by unscrewing the three hinge screws used to hold the door to the body of the washer before attempting any repairs (second star reduction once you see how cheaply this door is put together).

Overpriced but fits fine
This fit our approximately 8 year old Frigidaire front-loader exactly as it should, but it hurt to pay $115 for, as the other reviewer put it, "a molded piece of cheap plastic." That's a significant percentage of what the entire washer cost when we bought it.
