Great size, very powerful, but external monitor support is limited.
I'm not a fan of HUGE gaming laptops. They are more like luggable to me. This laptop is the perfect size for mobile gaming and is very light for a gaming laptop. I ordered direct from HP to get a custom configuration with 64GB RAM, 2TB HD, Core 9 CPU, NVIDIA RTX 5070. Very powerful laptop, which I needed for all the virtual OS' I like to run simultaneously. Another thing is being able to run the laptop at full speed plugged into a PD3.1 140W PS. This allows me to use my own PS instead of the one supplied as mine is a lot smaller. The reason I dinged it one star was how they configured the graphics. You can only output to one monitor with the NVIDA card. If you have multiple monitors like I do all the other monitors will use the integrated ARC graphics. You can't even output to one additional monitor and the onboard screen at the same time for the NVIDIA. My understanding is they could have added the needed tech to support multi-monitor for NVIDA for additional ~$10 to the Build of Materials. To top it off if you are going to output to an external display with NVIIDA you have to use the onboard HDMI. Thunderbolt/USB-C only supports Intel ARC for external display. If you connect a monitor to the HDMI it will automatically the laptop screen to the Intel ARC graphics.
