I used to derma roller years ago, and have quite large patches of hyperpigmentation on my face (thanks peri-menopause) I’ve used this twice and it’s reduced dramatically. I use alcohol pads to clean my face after a double cleanse, then I use geek & gorgeous Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as ‘slip’ and go over my face in a small squares going up and down then over that using side to side motions. I do .75 on forehead, neck and chest increasing it to 1 for rest of face. I the slather HA on for about an hour, the next day I use caster oil-and lots of SPF if I’m going out. After 48hrs I go back to my usual skincare and apply make-up once more. It’s easy to use and does smart a little bit, I did find the charge went quickly but overall this is value for money. I’ve done 3 sessions a week apart and the hyperpigmentation is reducing nicely, my pores are shrinking AND my jowls (again thanks peri-m) are reducing too. Going to carry on and do 10 sessions and see where I’m at. I use the 12 needles thingie and just throw it away after my 30-40mins session. I do love that you can buy replacement needle heads which i absolutely will do. I really hope you find this helpful!

I had 3 mironeedle sessions completed by an aesthetician, they are extremley expensive and a lot of the appointment time is pre-setup and after care, I don't feel much time is allocated for me to get the results I want, from microneedling. I used this device with Emla numbing cream. I applied 20minutes before, washed this off and used 0.1 chlorhexidine antiseptic (£5 on Amazon), to remove the excess. I applied Hyaluronic acid and used the device as per the manual instructions, but at the minimum to mid range needle depth. Continuously applying hyalorinic acid, to ensure the pen doesn’t drag against my skin. You need to make sure everything you are going to use is clean, including hands (I also used antibacterial wipes on the device handle, my hyalorinic acid bottle and my mobile phone). Once completed, I washed my face with plain water and applied more hyalorinic acid to damp skin. By using the numbing cream, I only felt the vibration of the pen, where as I felt everything when going to the aesthetician as she doesn't apply numbing cream for that long. For me it was a much more enjoyable experience and I was able to go over the sections I felt required it to my satisfaction. Post microneedling, my redness disappeared after 2 hours and was not swollen, where as it is nearly a whole day with the aesthetician, but I feel that is linked to a mask that she puts on after, that makes my skin sting, and may not be suitable for sensitive skin. For my next use in 4 weeks, I will go up in speed and use the maximum needle depth, as I feel my skin can tolerate that. The manual instructions, are very informative and cover pre care and after care steps until you are able to return to your normal facial routine. This is a great device, solid and sturdy and holds charge well. I just wish I had gone for the 9 speed model from the same brand, as this comes with many more needles and there is only a five quid difference. I am very impressed with the device and my results, now I can do this at home every 4 weeks, without having to pay someone! There is a lot of information on home microneedling online and youtube videos. So please do your research first, especially if you are completely new to microneedling. My skin type for reference is sensitive, combination skin. I am using microneedling to improve skin texture, hyperpigmentation from acne scars and marionette lines.

Always cleanse face with alcohol wipes before using and use hylaronic acid throughout session. Skin peels for about 5 days so don't do this if you have some plans the following week. But wow, it's a game changer. I cannot believe how much better my skin looked after the peeling and flakiness stopped. I glowed for the first time in about 20 years and my skin looked younger, fresh, flawless and smooth. Need to do it again as I have left it for 3 months but I'm treating this as a treat now and again as I don't want to over do it. But yes buy it. Wish you got more needles though, only 2 sets but otherwise fantastic.

This is dangerous. I'm an aesthetics practitioner and I lost my wire for my Dr Pen so decided to give this a try. On zero setting the needles pop out really far once turned on. There should be no popping out of needles nor any effect on 0 setting. This meant it's far too deep for sensitive areas. I will have to return it.

If you had asked me within the first year of purchase my score it would have been 5 stars. When functioning, the micro needling pen is excellent with a good selection of included needles, speed settings and depth settings, for a full range of functionality. It really does work like a professional micro needling pen. However, 18 months after purchase the 'rechargeable' battery no longer works. It doesn't recharge and the pen does not work at all cordlessly now. It still works when plugged in but this is not ideal for some situations (travelling, holidays/vacations, UK bathrooms without plug or usb sockets, etc). I can still use it while plugged in but for many people the cordlessness may be an important selling point, which, for me at least, is now defunct. It isn't the first time I have got 'rechargeable battery' devices (e.g. hair clippers) from lesser known brands where they must have put really cheap 'rechargeable' batteries in them that just break after a year or so. And that is ripping off the customer. I might just have been unfortunate and got a duff one but I have an inkling that it may be inherent to the brand. So 3 stars (5 stars for the functionality, 1 star for the lifetime). The battery needs improving, big time.

Franchement cela fait plusieurs mois que je l’utilise et il est super ! Bien sûr a utiliser que si on est bien informé avant ! Je l’utilise plus pour le corps, au niveau des vergetures et avec un serum spécifique pour le microneedling. Et les résultats sont top!

Toller Pen. Ich habe lange überlegt, mir solch ein Gerät zu holen. Ich habe mich dann fpr dieses entschieden, da es nicht so teuer ist. Ich bin wirklich begeistert. Mit den Ban Pins kann man super Serum in die oberen Hautschichten einarbeiten. Mit den 12er kann man dann gezielt arbeiten. Man merkt due Nanopibs nahezu nicht, die 12er schon deutlich. Ich fonde es aber aushaltbar. Klar ist man nach den 12er Pins rit und die Haut wiemrd warm. Ich gabe dues auch schon bei einer Kosmetikerin gemacht und fonde, dass dieser Pen wirklich toll ist und deutlich preiswerter. Man sollte aber auf ein gutes Serum achten.

Excellent ! Je ne regrette pas mon achat. Le stylo est movre avec 3 aiguilles stériles. Le stylo est super efficace il a 3 vitesses et des degrés de picotements différents pour insérer le sérum au plus près du derme. J'ai opté pour ce stylo et je regrette pas car un micro needling en institut esthétique ou clinique privée ça coûte une blinde jusqu'à 180 voire 250 euros 1 seance . Du coup je me suis dit autant acheter le stylo come ça je me le ferais moi même. Et bien je regrette pas . Il est magnifique et très facile à utiliser. Je suis accroc au micro needling du coup et j'ai vu le résultat de suite. Ma peau est repulpee et à bien bu le sérum. Avant la seance je vous conseille de bien nettoyer votre peau avant à l eau. Puis les aiguilles avec un antiseptique quand même. Placez votre sérum sur votre peau. De préférence un sérum laroche posay ou autre avec vitamine c ou acide hyaluronique ou rétinol. A la fin de la seance. Je vous recommande d avoir de la crème CICALFATE parce que ça chauffe et votre peau à ete quand même assez agressée par les aiguilles. Donc prévoyez du cicalfate à poser. Faites la seance plutot le soir. Afin d eciter de sortir rouge comme une tomate aussi lol. Le lendemain matin vous serez belle avec une jolie peau de pêche 🍑

Good value. Good Battery, adjusting length is easy and the build quality is solid. Also looks nice so it's not something you need to hide. I use it occasionally before or after skin care products to help absorption and circulation.
