I have been using this IPL hair removal device for several weeks. Besides the IPL hair remover, I got a power adapter, safety goggles, a user manual, and a razor. The IPL hair removal device is large but not too bulky. It's about 7 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 7/16 inches thick. On the device housing, I noted that it is rated for 24 volts operation and displays CE, FCC, and UKCA certification marks. I see the unit is made in China. According to the user manual, the device has nine energy levels and an ice-cooling function. I started my treatments at energy level one due to my pale skin and dark brown hair, which the manual says is the ideal combination. The ice-cooling mode maintains a lower skin temperature during operation. Shaving before each session is essential so the light pulses reach the root instead of the long hair above the skin; besides, I don't like the smell of burnt hair. I noticed a gradual reduction in hair density on my arms after following the recommended twice-weekly schedule. So it's effective but i have to use it regularly. The device needs a power outlet for use, as it is not cordless. But the power adapter has a long power cord and I find it easy to use and more comfortable than shaving daily under the shower.

CONSISTENCY. IS. KEY. I used this tool on my face, armpits, and bikini area; ALL PLACES showed noticeable differences in hair growth rate! I noticed the best results happen when you have it set at the highest setting (9) and zap twice in the same spot—do this every day for 1-2 weeks straight and you WILL see a difference in how slow your hair grows back in those places. After using it consistently (same routine) for a month, my armpit and facial hair don’t need nearly as frequent zapping sessions. They only need a touch up after like 3-6 weeks. Absolutely AMAZING! I will say that the frequency for the bikini line would be after 2-3 weeks, BUT the hair grows extremely slow and in some areas, it stopped growing entirely…so it can get patchy. Overall, PERFECT for significantly reducing the speed of hair growth on mustache/chin area, armpits, and bikini/Brazilian line! Just remember, you will only see these results if you are consistent! Also, the highest setting (9) does not hurt at all, so you will be fine. The only minor problem I have with this product is having to wait 3-5 seconds until you can click a full zap again. It’s weird, idk, it will give you like a half-light zap if you don’t wait the 3-5 seconds.

I have one that doesn't have the ice-cool feature and love it. I got one for my daughter too that also doesn't have this nice and helpful feature. Also this one is stronger as well. So I got this one for my mother that was planning to go to one of those expensive places I asked why she would spend thousands of dollars if she can get it done at home for $100 dollars? So I told her I was going to buy one as gift and I did it the problem now is I liked it so much with this ice cool feature that I'm keeping it and ordering another one. The ice - cool feature really helps. I am having tons of new hairs growing all over the place due hormones and the collagen that I'm taking so I need use laser hair removal bc shave grows too fast and waxing not only is painful, expensive also grows fast as well. My previous experience with laser hair removal was very satisfactory. If you are thinking of getting one due it, save your money for something else bc it works just like the laser treatments those expensive places offer. It is very important to read the instructions for safety and to know how to do it but it's very easy and simple to do. Also the device is well made and light weigh another thing that I like about this one that must mention there are others sold on Amazon that is too heavy and will make your hands tired but not this one. It also has red light, I have a red light mask that I use one my face and it leave my skin soft and looking good so another plus feature that comes with it. Honesty, if you don't know what gift to give to someone give one of this they will be thankful for life for it. I am happy that I can go without unwanted hairs without spend thousands of dollars bc the unwanted annoying hairs really bothered me. You can use it on your chi, mustache, armpits, legs, bikini and more. Also men can use it too. A protective glasses and a shaver comes with it so you don't have to worry buy them. I got the white and gold color and it beautiful it was delivered fast as well. The seller was nice sending me a message with some tips and thanking me for the purchase and if I should have any concern or problem with it to just contact them. It has 999.998 flashes and red light waves that kills better the hair follicles and faster. I'm really excited and satisfied with this device.

Easy to use, painless, multipurpose (antiredness at lower settings and hair removal at the higher), effective cooling, and lightweight. To soon to rate effectiveness, but am hopeful. Lost a star because the device fails to turn off using the power off button.

Not sure how this works because I returned it after I found out it doesn't work on gray hair. So I just gave it 5 stars because it looked well made & durable?!

I have an old silk'n device from more than 10 years ago, and thank to advances in technology I could get this better device at a lower price. I like the cooling head which reduce skin damage. It is easy to use and feels very sleek in hand. Compared to my old device, which recommended treatment every two weeks, this one suggests 3 times a week. I believe it is because it gives less skin damage and more frequent treatment will give better result. This device also includes ance removal and skin rejuvenal functions, but not much description on those features. I will update the hair removal result in a few weeks.

I’ve been using this laser hair removal device for almost two months now and I love it! I’m very fair skinned with dark hair in the areas I’m treating, so I am a good candidate for the device (according to the manual). I have been following the suggested weekly treatments making sure I have shaved beforehand, and for the first few weeks I was a little doubtful, of course, not seeing immediate results. But I can honestly say it is working. I’ve been treating my legs (knee to ankle), bikini line, and armpits. Prior to me using the device, whenever I would shave my hair would immediately grow back. Currently I’m 4 days post shave and everything is still decently smooth with only a few prickly hairs, and the hair grows back so much slower. I’m going to continue using the device/laser schedule as suggested in the manual and hopefully reach my desired results! I will say, make sure you clean the device or it will give off a burning smell. Also, it may feel like it’s “overheating” I will sometimes take a break and come back to it, or continue and the “overheating” feeling goes away eventually. But I have had no skin irritation (and I have very sensitive skin) and no pain either. Start on a lower level (I started on level 5) and just work your way up till you get use to it.
