While liquids will expand and stretch the container when frozen, the lids still fit just fine. I've been using these to cook food in buik and freeze them. I would suggest adding a label to these containers, though, so one can note the contents and date before freezing. Very useful when packing the freezer full of pre-cooked items.

I bought these to store homemade ice cream as I now have an ice cream maker. So far so good, they are holding up to the cold pretty well. I am also storing frozen fruit treats for my dogs in these. I made them in the blender with watermellon, bananas and plain yogurt and froze in ice cube trays. An entire ice cube tray fits in the container with plenty of room left. When my dogs hear me open the freezer door and shake the frozen fruit treats they go bonkers!The quality is OK, not the thickest containers I've owned but so far they're serving their purpose.

These go from our dishwasher to fridge to deep freezer over and over again. I use them as I would regular tupperware for leftovers as well as for freezing food/liquids. We've had them 3 years and I believe only 1 has cracked and that was due to my error of not letting the liquids cool down sufficiently before putting them into the freezer so it was due to the expansion during freezing. Even then, no mess was made and I understood it was my usage. The small pull-tab has come off of 1 or 2 of the lids out of the dozen we have, but they are easy to open from any side without it. I love how well they stack and the various sizes come in handy. Since they are square, they fit great in coolers and lunch boxes with less wasted space than round containers and less leaks/squashed food than using ziplock baggies. I will order more since they have held up so well and I plan to stock our deep freezer with home made bone broth.

Okay for what I need. Not as sturdy as I would like, but can use them.

I've been buying this brand for 2 years now. I do a lot of beef stock, tallow, etc. Ice had plastic containers crack and splinter. Not these. They are expensive but my last set I've re used numerous times and they are holding up wonderfully.

I hand-wash my dishes, but even so, over time the lids stopped closing snugly on the bottoms. The other issue is with very little use they crack and leak at the bottom. I’ve ordered more than once and they don’t hold up. Now having yo replace with a new brand. I don’t recommend these.
