Happy So Far
Needed a new ceiling vent with light over our shower/bath after the bathroom fitter lost some of the components for the original one. This was reasonably priced and the electrician had no issues or concerns when fitting. It is a cool white light which didn’t match the warmer lights in the room so I changed the bulb. I did note that the item is described as 3w but the bulb supplied was 5w. When changing the bulb it’s a little confusing (no instructions included) as it looks like the bulb is behind a silver surround but this is actually the bulb itself and pulls out once you get your fingers under the silver edge and ease it out. The bulb fitting is a standard MR16 and the replacement bulb fitted nicely with springs gripping it once pushed in and looks really nice in the unit. So far happy, but time will always tell how long any thing lasts.

Light works well, this is not an Not a fan, no instructions supplied....WHY ? That said, there are only 2 wires to connect.

Reasonable for the price, and does the job but...
I was looking for a Manrose unit I have used several times before but seemed to be out of stock everywhere. Noticing this item, cheap as chips and supplied with an LED and driver.The body of the vent seems good quality and its easy to install and achieve a good seal to 100mm ducting.As an electrician, I was reluctant to use the LED driver that was sent with the kit. It looks like one of the dodgy Chinese imports we see on Watchdog so I bought a replacement. The data label has errors, doesn't include all the information I would expect and it looks hastily stuck over another that it contradicts.Unhappy with the garish blue glow, and wanting to swap for warm white, The LED lamp itself I have unfortunately found slightly more difficult to replace. Any replacement lamps need to be a frame size a few mm longer than standard in order ro fit the base.
