Beautiful illustrations and gold edged pages, makes a lovely gift

This book is really lovely in the way that books used to be. I bought it as a Christmas present for my grandson aged 6. He is absolutely a little bookworm and also loves animals and nature. I’m sure this book will immediately pique his interest because of the beautiful cover even before he opens it to the amazing illustrations.

The book is very educational for my little one, and the material is very good. The book will last for a long time

This book is fabulous. My 3 year olds love it and there's plenty to look at. One of my boys literally won't put it down. The only downside is that the book wears quickly ie. Corners get damaged quickly. But for the price and the photo quality it is amazing . Would make a great gift.

We bought this as a birthday gift for an eight year old. The outer covers themselves are a delight and the gold edging to the pages make this book feel special even before it is opened. Inside there is a wealth of information. written in a style which is easily accessible to youngsters.The illustrations are superb - I wanted would have been delighted to have it for myself as a child.
