excellent cable quality works fine.

I installed 300 meters of this in my driveway. I rented a trencher and dug a trench 18 to 24 inches deep, ran the fiber through the trench and covered it up. I installed this about 6 months ago now and we have a great 10 gig connection between my home and our office. The cable seems durable and I had no trouble with it, though we did handle it carefully. This driveway gets a lot of traffic, and heavy equipment traffic as well. I did have connection problems at first, but we figured out that some dust got in the end cap as we pulled the fiber under the house. I bought a fiber cleaner and an inspection microscope, and after it was cleaned the fiber has been working perfectly.

Works quite nicely! Survive the elements for last 6 months (HOTTT, Mild, Rain, some snow) and hanging in there! Have repeated purchase. NOTE This review is based on a previous purchase of this item. This exact item, is my 5th purchase as it works well! Its the lower aerial cable in the photo. There are two of these cables up there and have been since early summer 2025. Working just fine!

This happened on both ends of the cable. For whatever reason they have a threaded barrel on each end where it breaks off into the 4 cores rather than it being a solid core barrel. When you go to install it, if you don't keep your eye on these ends like it's a 2-year-old toddler after they've learned how to climb on things, the next thing you know, these threaded barrels will unscrew on their own and pull the fiber out of the case and there is NO WAY TO PUT IT BACK IN. Now, my extremely delicate fiber cables are as delicate as a single human hair. Good luck using it. STAY AWAY until they fix this terrible design.

This is an updated review after rewinding for return. Failed after one month. 5/6 strands broken. While winding for return I found where a rodent was able to bite the cable nearly in half. The armor isn't coiled tightly enough, a mouse can get it's teeth between the armor helices and sever the strands. This may also be made with that modern plastic cable insulation animals like to chew, the rubber SOOW cable I had run in parallel for power was undamaged. Not suitable as a outdoor cable as advertised.
