I’d give this a 0 but that’s not an option. This product does not work! The instructions are difficult to follow and the press only pushed out partial cookies. I’m a culinary arts educator and was reviewing this to use in my classroom. Perhaps I just have a bad product but Wilton will not let me return this defective item! Very disappointed.

Used it once. Second time the steel rod went straight through the silicon/plastic plunger cap. Poor design. The weakest point is where the pressure is the most. The hinge and cylinder were well made, but WHY use a weak plastic part to attach the plunger?? Why not make that attachment steel as well, and THEN cover it with the silicon/plastic plunger cap. But no, that must have been too costly, let's save 1$ in production so it will crack eventually after a few uses. Guess the design was in this case a little too weak, as it cracked at the 2nd use instead fo after about 1-2 year so I would buy a new one. Good for me that it cracked too soon for Wilton, at least now I can return it, and avoid this brand going forward. I paid $80 for this, thinking I bought a quality product. Wrong. My journey for the ultimate cookies press goes on. Why is it so hard to make a GOOD product: A STURDY steel construction (NOT aluminium, NOT plastic). Such a cookie press seems to not to exist.
