Dolphins (Smithsonian-science)

I gave this book as a gift....I went for a walk with this young man and asked him the normal question: What do you want to be when you grow up?never expecting his response would be a marine biologist (he is my neighbor age 12) The book is full of gorgeous pictures and interesting to all ages. He was so excited!!!!!!

Bought for my nephew who loves dolphins. This contains factual detail that is layered as to be useful to both children who can read it and to parents who can use it over time as children grow in their ability to understand and learn from the depth of information provided. Contains many details I as an educator did not know. Excellent illustration.

I purchased several of these for my classroom library. My students enjoy them and I would definitely purchase again!

As a teacher, I can say anything by Seymour Simon's informational test books are great for your library!

Love how my kids can learn. Has pictures and it's fun to read

5th grade loves the great photos and details.

I bought this for my grand nephew who loves dolphins. The pictures were nice but the reading material was coordinated with the photos. It just read like a report not a children's book.
