Perfect replacement
This seems to be OEM and was very easy to install. Maybe 5 minutes? The old relief valve was the original that came with the filter housing which is about 5 years old. The problem I was having is the valve would open just fine but when closing it, it would not “lock down”. Meaning it simply would not turn all the way so that the tab went into the flat part giving the feeling that the valve was completely closed and would not work itself open due to vibration or pressure. I assume some bit of debris must be lodged in there somewhere causing this issue but it’s easier to just replace the entire valve. New one works as designed and locks down as it should. No more concern that it will “pop itself” open and spew water everywhere.

Lasted 5 years
Just a quick comment to say after 5 years this broke on me. I am not mad at that at all as it is so reasonably priced. Just wanted to share my experience.Very easy install, worked well on my Pentair CCP240 Clean and Clear Plus Pool and Spa Cartridge Filter, 90-GPM

Good quality and price
Better than the Chinese knockoffs they sell on here. The last Chinese only lasted one month. This one seems to be of better quality and hopefully will last a lot longer. Time will tell.

Great valve with pressure guage for top of DE filter. Was recommended by Pool Cleaning Company. Easy install with some Teflon tape.
