Is it useful for bangs?

I do not recommend it's not very sturdy didn't clip down well and unless you want like tiny individual curls in your bangs I would go with something else.

Yes, it could be used in US, it has standard US plug and voltage is 110-240V.

It is one of the smaller ones im pretty sure its a ¼". About the size of one of those crayola markers

is the heat adjustable?

This curling iron is adjustable in 5 degree increments. Just hold the center on off button to start. Then use the side buttons to set your temperature. Heats up quickly. Highly recommend this product.
