A Must-Have for Parents – Fun Game with a Purpose!
Mad Dragon 2 has been a wonderful addition to our family game nights. It’s an Uno-style card game that’s super easy for kids to pick up, which means less explaining and more playing! But what really makes it stand out is how it gently introduces anger management concepts in a way that’s fun and relatable. As a parent, I love that this game helps my child recognize and talk about emotions without it feeling like a “lesson.” The cards spark meaningful conversations and offer simple strategies for handling frustration and big feelings — all while keeping the mood light and playful. It’s perfect for kids who are still learning how to manage emotions, and it’s a great tool for building emotional intelligence through play. Highly recommend for any parent looking to combine fun with a little bit of learning!

A Beautiful Tool for Talking About Anger
I played Mad Dragon 2 with my 10-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. She tends to bottle up her anger and has a hard time expressing when she's upset, so I was hoping this might help. The game gave us both a shared language to talk about anger in a way that felt safe and approachable. Instead of anger being this scary, forbidden emotion, Mad Dragon 2 helped us understand that it's completely okay to feel angry, what matters is what you do with that feeling. The lessons were gentle but powerful, and I loved that it doesn't just teach kids to "calm down." It validates their emotions while giving them tools to process and respond in healthy ways. We've already started using phrases and concepts from the game in our everyday conversations, and I can see my daughter becoming more comfortable acknowledging her feelings. As a parent, this game was a gift. It opened up conversations we needed to have and did it in a way that was engaging and age-appropriate. Highly recommend for any family working through big emotions together.

Brilliant for helping children understand and resolve anger issues.
What amazing product that helps children get in touch with their feelings! I am a school administrator and also part of our student support team. I found Mad Dragon and now Mad Dragon 2, to be invaluable when working with children with anger issues, or even children who struggle to express themselves. I have seen an increase in anger with children since Covid. This card game helps children identify and express their feelings in a safe and fun environment. Even the most introverted child can be drawn out of their shyness/fear and learn how to express their feelings. A lot of anger issues stem from not understanding how to identify and express our feelings. Mad dragon card games are genius in helping to get the conversation started and resolved. It helps children to reflect on how they are feeling and gives them an understanding of why they feel the way they do. Amazing therapeutic card game. I highly recommend Mad Dragon to therapists, schools, parents and anyone who works with children with anger challenges. You will be amazed at how easy it is to help children learn how to express themselves and correct their behaviors. I would have given Mad Dragon 10 stars had I’ve been able to!

Great Family and Friends game!
This was a great game it plays like Uno but you go through cards and read questions that you answer with a story regarding anger and helps build ways of handling anger. The only thing I will say is when you are playing the game I am the kind of person whom it is hard to think of a story when I felt angry on the spot to share during the game in order to play and make it interesting. However, my family and I (which includes my 9yo, husband, friend, and I) really enjoyed it. It is also no terribly long so you have time o play more rounds!

A fun and truly helpful tool for kids learning to manage emotions
Mad Dragon Version 2 feels like a mix between a classic card game and a mini therapy session (in the best way). My 11-year-old actually asks to play it, which says a lot. What I really love is how naturally the conversations happen, the cards don’t feel preachy or forced. My child starts to talk about what makes her mad or frustrated without even realizing she's practicing coping skills. It’s great for home, but I could easily see teachers, therapists, or counselors using it in groups too. The quality of the cards is excellent, the design is fun and engaging, and the game moves fast enough to keep my childs attention. It’s such a great balance of fun and learning! I’ve already recommended it to a few friends who work with kids. Highly recommend for any parent or professional wanting to help kids build emotional awareness and anger management in a positive, playful way!

Thoughtful and great just like its predecessor.
My child and I absolutely love playing this game. It is a beautiful tool for talking about anger and other big emotions in a way that feels safe and approachable. The game is easy to learn and is basically like Uno with a thoughtful twist. The cards are artistic and keep our kids engaged. It doesn't just teach kids to "calm down," but validates their emotions while giving them tools to process and respond in healthy ways. We've already started using concepts from the game in our everyday conversations. The game is also very well-made and easy to store. I highly recommend it for any family working through big emotions together.
