WoodyKnows Ultra-Breathable Nasal Filters (Round, XL, 6 Pack)

Having Hay Fever since the age of two I've always found tablets, nasal sprays and other hay fever medication completely useless when there are high levels of pollen! Living in the peak district surrounded by fields and meadows my allergy can become extremely bad with a film forming over my eyes and triggering asthma! Not to mention the 24 hour sneezing and feeling like I have a kilo of sand stuck in my eyes! I literally have to lock myself in a safe room or have a trip to a town so that I can recover. (I really should move to a city, but I love the country too much!) Anyway I digress, these little things are absolutely amazing when fitted correctly, I even manage to go outside whilst the farmers are silaging and not sneeze! To me this is simply a WOW feeling!!!!! The trick with them is to ensure that they are fitted correctly, a tight fit is good! Buy the trial pack first to work out which you need! They are uncomfortable when you first start to wear them, but after wearing them for a short time you become accustomed to how they feel! One thing that is important! is to ensure that you are only breathing through your nose, start breathing through your mouth by mistake. Like whilst talking, and your symptoms flare up and the damn things will become impossible to breathe through, if your nose starts to run! You also have to ensure that you apply them when you have no symptoms otherwise again they become impossible to breathe through! The only bad thing about these is the price! I wish they were cheaper! All in all an excellent product if you suffer from hay fever (i can’t comment on other allergies) and i would recommend to anyone who suffers!

I'm going to have to speak rather crudely in this review so please accept my apologies... Prelude: I have suffered from Hayfever for years, like many, it makes me anxious about summer and when it comes around, I'm forced indoors all day and night. Going to and from work is like hell as it's usually in the peak time for pollen. I was ready to try anything to reduce my suffering from Hayfever. I'd wear sunglasses, take tablets and use nasal sprays but it wasn't enough, I'd still be heavily affected and decided to see if there were any solutions. I was searching for 'city masks' but then I stumbled upon these and was instantly intrigued so I decided to purchase them. The Review: Initially shoving small plastic filters up my nostril seemed weird and, unfortunately, it's not something that you get used to. However, they do work. If you can get a size which fits your nostrils completely and apply them before you come in contact with pollen, they really can help reduce your Hayfever symptoms but you will need to be prepared for people to notice and stare which happened to me a lot on the train. The problem with these filters is that if you don't have a perfect seal or your symptoms flare up because of pollen getting in through other means; such as your eyes, then you're in for trouble as these can get very 'soggy' if your nose starts to run and it gets even messier if you need to sneeze because you've built up a reservoir of nasal excrement which is about to be expelled along with the nasal filters. Not a pretty sight or thought but it's the truth. If you find that you only get symptoms when pollen gets in through your nose then I think these could work really well for you, buy the set with different sizes in it and see which fits best and go from there. If you get really bad Hayfever, I don't feel that these will help, at least not for long.

I am a long time hay fever sufferer looking for a non medicinal solution. I had hoped this would be it sadly it's not. There are two main design flaws. The first is the bulk, the bulk makes it much more susceptible to movement. I found myself having to frequently reposition as the tip kept appearing. The second flaw is where the device actually sits in your nose. It is intended to be placed at the nostril section which tends to move whenever the simplest action was undertaken such as eating, talking or even exercising. When you combine the two main flaws it quickly becomes apparent that the device is not fit for purpose. I sincerely hope that the manufacturer heeds my feedback as I would like them to succeed and make a superior product. Perhaps one that goes slightly higher up the nose where the nasal bone does not flex as much and a slimmed design. Don't waste your money on this product.

Fits prefectly in my nose!!!. My sinus infection was so bad.. when i look in the mirror one nostril is smaller then the other because of the infection in my nose. I put these nose filter on after doing the reverse sinus wash every morning I wake up. These filer open my nostrils and it does block dust and pollen which i am allergic of. No need to go to the doctor anymore!!! Thank you Woodyknows!!! Definitely a rate of 5 stars and a miracle product i bumped into on amazon!!!

These filters work great in dusty or smoky environments I encounter

Went from highly allergic to no sneezing within an hour I highly recommend these to ANYONE with allergies Two very important notes: 1. It's imperative that you get the right size, otherwise you will find yourself in extreme discomfort. Start with the variety pack and work from there (hint: a lot of you are actually "slotted" even though you might think you are round) 2. When you first put them in, your nose will still run and you will still need to give time to allow your body to finish processing whatever is in your system. Take these out if you feel a sneeze coming and to blow your nose and stick them back in right after. After a few hours you will hardly realize you are wearing them and all the waterworks will stop. Also, I don't think this completely blocks out eye irritation. Although significantly better, I advise using separate drops for that.

Works surprisingly well! I thought they would be a noting to have in the nose but they actually are very comfortable 😃 I have very intense allergies and work with animals and using these are a life changer! I also had lost my sense of smell because of allergies for months! And as soon as I put these in my nose, I started to smell again! I have no idea why but I was extatique! Would 100% recommend!
