This is a great machine. Easy to use. It makes delicious cocoa. The matching chocolate mixes are frightfully expensive, but brand name cocoa drink mixes work just as well.

Hot chocolate was never easier. I use chocolate milk with this machine. I pour in the milk and a few minutes later I’m holding a cup of foamy hot chocolate that is pretty doggone good. I usually don’t do anything in the kitchen that takes longer than a minute. I highly recommend this.

Bought in November 2025 as Christmas gift and now here it is February 2026 and the whisk has stopped spinning. Can’t seem to reach anyone to troubleshoot it or get replacement part no help whatsoever and no easy way to find help! For the money paid it’s disappointing plus this is the third one as a gift so hope the others don’t get faulty as well!

The product makes good hot chocolate-but it does not work on a consistent basis. To expensive for something that does not work all the time.

We really enjoy how smooth and good the hot chocolate flavors are. Also, like the ease of the maker. We got the Christmas Avent Calendar and enjoyed getting a chance to taste the various flavors. Surprisingly there was only one flavor that wasn't a favorite, but it was still good.

Deceptive marketing ,poor customer service, and quality has significantly worsened since Mars Corp. bought the original company. The “ New” Velvetizer is built for obsolescense, and the drinking chocolates are not the quality they used to be. Don’t be fooled by their “happiness guarantee”; read the return policy carefully! You cannot return the product if used, and if it is faulty good luck getting any recourse.
