I’ve been IN and following the K-beauty skincare since 2014, and while I’ve tried countless retinol and retinal formulas, I’ve rarely found a true standout until I ran this one. The quality is exceptional. Although social media often shows people applying large amounts, you truly only need a small pea-sized amount. It absorbs quickly, spreads beautifully, and because so little is needed, the tube lasts a long time. The value is excellent. I waited over two full months before reviewing so I could evaluate it through at least one full 28-day skin cycle (plus extra time), and the results have been impressive. My skin type is “SooBooJi” (수부지); dehydrated yet oily and this product has helped maintain a plump, healthy glow without making my skin look overly greasy. My skin before looked like I was ready to fry chicken with it with how greasy it looked. I genuinely hope Celimax never discontinues this. I’ve already purchased three more; some as backup and one to share with a friend. Highly recommend, just again, please don't slap a ton on like how influencers do. If you have VERY sensitive skin or new to retinals/retinols, please take your time and do NOT use this every night as it may aggravate your skin. Start slow, once or twice a week and build up from there. EDIT: Just here to post photos of some before and after as well that had some discoloration. Same side as well by looking at the little beauty mark that I have and then just a selfie with no makeup on.

Fantastic product. I am a registered nurse and skin care enthusiast. I am always looking for and trying products to improve the look and feel of my skin at an affordable price. This retinol cream has met all of my requirements. I have been using it for approximately 4 weeks, and I think that it has had a better effect on my skin than more expensive prescription creams. I also like that you get 2 tubes for a very fair price.

I was not familiar with Celimax Vita A Retinal Shot, but I’m glad I came across it here on Amazon. Because my skin has been accustomed to Retinol for many years, I was not as cautious with frequency of use as some may need to be. I used it for 3 consecutive days (at night). On morning 4, I noticed a difference in my skin. The dullness had improved as I caught a glimpse of my face in the mirror. I looked closer and my skin texture looked better. At 63, I struggle with premature aging from sun damage. Honestly, I avoid looking in the mirror unless I have to. Unfortunately, Retinol products have made no noticeable difference. I continued using them with hope that acceleration of my aging skin would at least slow down. This retinal shot is different, better, much to my surprise. It’s different because it’s working! Retinal is 11 times stronger than Retinol, according to my research. Hence, faster results. This may not be suitable for sensitive skin, but for others desiring faster results, I highly recommend this Retinal Shot. The cream is fragrance free. The consistency is something between a cream and lotion (not heavy). The spread ability is not easy without stretching the skin. I recommend applying to problem areas and mostly patting the product in, versus rubbing. As described, it does apply with a yellow tint. I actually appreciated this since I could clearly identify areas that I had missed. It does wash off upon facial cleansing. I applied a moisturizer 20 minutes after application as instructed. On day 3, I did not because my skin felt oily. My skin did not feel dry at all upon waking. In fact, it felt as though I had used moisturizer, but there was no oily feel. I don’t yet have any flaking or blemishes. I’m quite encouraged by this product and will purchase the two pack next time. I am encouraged that over time my fine lines and wrinkles will smooth out some. This product is well worth the price.

Pros: Lightweight - Creamy consistency - no detectable odor - absorbs fairly easily Cons: Very small tube for the price - if you have fair skin, you will see the yellow tint on your skin after it dries - skin doesn’t really feel much different after it absorbs Jury is still out on effectiveness. Because of the price, I’m now only using it on my most obvious turkey neck area. Will update if any noticeable changes occur. Right now, I don’t think I’ll be reordering.

This is genuinely a great product, you only need 1-2 drops every other night if you are a seasoned retinal user! I bought this a month ago and saw and felt better skin within the first use. One thing to keep in mind is you will need a 10/10 moisturizer as this product can dry out your if you use it excessively or are a beginner user of retinal. I you’re starting off, I recommend the Neutrogena dark spot nighttime retinol for starters. Anyways, this has established itself as part of my long term skin care routine 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

I love this cream , introduced it slowly on my skin starting with 3 times a week at the beginning and a small amount after patch test. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I would see any results but after 4 weeks my skin looks so much better, less fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes. I use it at night and before I put the cream on I use oil or carrier cream then the retinal cream. My skin feels tighter and smother. Even my husband noticed the difference. Make sure to introduce it slowly at night and as little as possible to beginning with. In the morning I wash my face and apply sun protection cream factor 50 as using retinal we need protection from UV light, even if it's cloudy outside.
