Works great as a nightlight but it’s pretty bright to be too close to in the dark… design is pretty simple too. It’s not a planetary projector by any means. Battery dies quickly too if left on. AA’s add up..

I was trying to pick between this one and the more expensive seen on the one. After reading reviews from both sides, I realized this was the best one to go with. I love how soft and cuddly it is and not too bright. I was afraid if I got something bright my toddlers would stare directly into the light. This one I’m not worried about. The battery pack is simple to access with a flap and there is a timer on the puppy. The battery runs out after about 5 times. I know this seems quick, but it really is worth the appeal. You can turn the light off too before the timer runs out. My boys were so happy to see their favorite dog character come to life and be a nightlight. It’s perfect. I highly recommend this item and would buy again. It would also make a great gift.

Oh boy I love it! Hope my kid likes it too! I like the star projection and how the colours change every few seconds.
