Green Guru Gear Double Dutch Dual 22l Everybike Pannier, Multi

These are great. This is my third one. A little pricey, but I love them anyway.

I had previously bought two of the "Dutchy panniers," and they work great, so I decided to try this double pannier style for another bike. I have never had a problem with the Dutchy panniers at all, but this "Double Dutch" rubs. As others have said, it does not have the insert on the bottom, and maybe that is what makes the difference. I will have to experiment to see if I can make my own insert or do something to alleviate the problem, but this product, as sold, is not usable. Buy the original Dutchy panniers instead!

I have a bike tour company and we use these exclusivly because of their durability and fun colors as well as being waterproof. The only thing I can say about this product is that what I loved most about them is that they used to have a plastic bottom piece that helped the bag hold its shape, which is really important when carrying items that you want to get to fast. This bag caries a 6 pack perfectly fine! Plus waterbottles, first aid kits and extra clothing needed for taking folks out on tours. We love it, I just wish they would please bring back the little plastic bottom liner.

The sides of this cool pannier are black - not patterned like the picture shows. The rest of it is great, if you don't need pockets in the front.

Fun surprise! I did add plastic bottoms to each panier so the held their form. Adds a bit of style to the bike.

These are well made green products, but remember that they are made from old billboard vinyl, so sometimes you get what you get. One of my bags is purple and pulled from a billboard with an event date easily red "Saturday May, " twenty something. Another was pink and I suspect it was for an adult "novelty shop" of some sort, though it was cut in a way I couldn't make out any of the words on it. The designs are still neat as each of mine were clearly made from pieces of multiple billboards (my guess in an effort to make it less legible and more artsy). None of this bothered me because it is a conversation starter and it helps save the planet, and what not. But, if you are looking for a specific color palette, you probably want to look elsewhere. If you want a well made, durable product that doesn't hurt the environment, this is your product.
