A great all rounder router but avoid Appario seller
I have upgraded to R7000P as my old router was a single band and it was not able to stream the videos properly at the same time not able to connect to multiple devices. And oh boy, what a router it is. The range is also good. I have a 2 storied building and the signal comes even on the second floor. Although the 5Ghz band range is not that strong on the second floor, which is understandable as multiple walls coming inside the signal. Speed has also increased after using this router. I am getting the full bandwidth that my ISP is providing earlier I was not getting it. The router is having many more features like beamforming, MU-MIMO, parental control, and circle security. But for circle security, we need to pay after a month, which was not great. I would like to have that feature available with Netgear for free. Having said that, all the other features it provides are overpowering the circle app. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks for the product. However, I am constantly seeing products which I have bought from Appario retail private ltd seller, is not good. Either they send a used one, or damedged product or a non working item. On top of of that they don't allow refund. They always go for replace. From this we should understand that the seller tries to sell the used product to the customer first and then in case the customer returns the product then they will send a new one. This is absolutely waste of time and money. Amazon should look into this urgently. This is my third transaction with Appario and everytime they have done the same. Buyers please avoid appario retail private ltd when you buy products from Amazon. It will be a waste of time.

Awesome router. Little costly though
This router is awesome & works like a charm. Easy installation, Great signal strengths, Remote management, Alexa supported, Dual Band, Guest Network, 1 USB 2.0 for printer, 1 USB 3.0 for Storage. NightHawk App is awesome, it helps control your router even if u are away from home. Easily accessible WiFi & WPS buttons on top. VPN support to access your contents even when not on your own network.CONS:No printer support on android. Available for Apple devices using AirPrint. Hope netgear fixes it soon.Takes a bit longer to boot.Nice router. Full coverage with 5G also. Works like a charm for my 900 sq.ft. house. Placed in centre so 30ft. each side coverage with 1 wall is great. 2 USB ports for printer & storage are additional benefits. Remote management is an added advantage which is not available in most routers. NightHawk App is good & easy to use. Alexa compatibility makes it even more fun. Just one drawback - Printer support not available for android devices

value for money
This router is awesome and perfectly value for money. Easy to setup(even for PPPoE) and speed is consistent with no packet drops. The range is ok for 5ghz and quite good for 2.4ghz. I would recommend if you are looking for a VFM home router.

WAN Port Faulty
So i got this Router like a Day after a ordered it so that's a Plus for Amazon. The Router itself has a Glossy Finish on the top and has 3 Antennas which are good enough to provide Wifi to a Large Home on the 2.4 ghz band. Also the NightHawk App is Pretty good but the problem for me was that since my ISP connection is pppoe based i had to enter my ID and Pass given by my ISP and i applied all the setting currently and it said that my ID and Pass was incorrect so My ISP sent over a Guy and he tried the same and it said the same so i did a loop back test on the Router to test for a Faulty WAN Port and the Internet LED didn't Glow ... i immediately called the NETGEAR support and they had me do the same and we determined that the WAN port was faulty .... i placed a Replacement request and they sent me a new R6350 and the same issue came up ... How do 2 routers turn out with Faulty WAN ports with the Routers passing quality tests .... going for a replacement and doing this Wasted a lot of my time so that's the reason for the 1 Star.

Versatile home router for the price
One thing I liked about this product was the ease of installation. Through the Netgear Nighthawk app (iOS / Android) you don't need to login to the web browser interface to set up the router. Of course this is a simplified interface & useful only if your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gives automated settings through the modem. The router has dual bands working together 2.4 Ghz @ 600 mbps & 5 Ghz @ 1625 mbps. The difference is useful if you care to transfer a lot of heavy duty data between 5Ghz supporting devices connected to the home wifi network. My previous router was a 2.4 Ghz router which used to struggle when 3 family members would stream video from their own devices at the same time & one of the devices would end up getting slower internet speed than the rest. This solves the problem as long as the internet speed is adequate to support multiple devices streaming video content at the same time. Ideal for a typical family of 4. However the device's capacity is to serve a lot more devices than that, haven't reached the full capacity yet. Technically it can support 10 devices @ 5 Ghz band with 160 mpbs each, plus 10 more devices @ 2.4 Ghz band with 60 mbps bandwidth for each device. That's more than enough for regular usage. The range is good but it is important that router is placed centrally in the home so it can reach most of the corners of the house. Concrete / brick walls in most Indian homes diminish the signal strength but despite that signal strength on both bands was > 80% across a 1,000 sq ft radius. Placement of the router is key. Some more interesting features:It has 2 USB ports 1 x USB 2.0 & 1 x USB 3.0- You can turn your old desktop printer to a network printer using the USB 2.0 port on the router- You can turn an external USB hard disk into a network storage device through the USB 3.0 port on the router. (using Netgear's inbuilt Readyshare feature) [Google search for this, lot of tutorials are available]- I can also take Time Machine Backups for my Mac using the network Hard disk. This router can be wall mounted, but is slightly bigger than the regular routers most home users are used to. It has 3 antennas which can be a bit tight to attach to the router in the beginning but they are useful to get good signal strength.Haven't had to contact Netgear Tech support yet, which is good, so can't judge the service quality yet. I've an older Netgear router purchased 8 years ago, which still works. So build quality is not an issue here.
