They definitely make a difference.
I have always had horrible skin. It is very acne prone, dry, dull, peeling in spots, and when I wake up in the morning you can literally see all of the disgustingness clogging the pores of my face. I recently stopped taking hormonal birth control and my skin has gotten ten times worse. Typically I use a benzoyl peroxide cleaner with a rotating brush. That works wonders but since my skin is now getting worse even that is having a hard time keeping up. I purchased some salicylic acid pads in hopes that the benzoyl peroxide would kill any bacteria and the salicylic acid would help exfoliate the dead skin cells but they have never really worked well for me and this time was no exception. They help to exfoliate, but they always leave my skin dry, tight and shiny. I decided I needed to try something different so I purchased these glycolic pads. I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought them so I was really pleasantly surprised when they worked so well. These pads contain both glycolic acid as well as salicylic acid and the combination has really made a difference in my skin. I am noticing my pimples don't last as long, my face is brighter and overall my skin looks much healthier. The pads have a citrus smell to them. The pads themselves are not as abrasive as a typical salicylic acid pad which after some research I have learned is a good thing. It is not the abrasive pad that is doing the exfoliating, it is the chemical on the pad. In fact abrasive pads can actually irritate sensitive skin even more so I feel the softness of these pads is a great feature. To use these, you should first clean your face so that the chemicals can get into your pores more easily. I would recommend a mild cleanser, especially I you have not used glycolic acid before so that you do not over dry your face. Once your face has dried you apply the pads. You can rub but I blot so as to not cause any more irritation. I personally let my face dry and let the chemicals work for about 15 minutes or so and then apply a moisturizer for sensitive skin. I have read that once the chemicals dry it is fine to add moisturizer and I find that the pads work the same regardless of whether I apply moisturizer or not. Keep in mind everyone's skin is different and this may or may not work better for you. I apply these right before bed (your skin works to repair itself at night so this is the best time) and in the morning I simply wash my face with water and moisturize if needed or if I am going to be applying makeup. One thing I did learn is that if you don't need an all over exfoliation or if these pads are too strong, it is OK to spot treat with them. For example, most of my breakouts are around my mouth and on my forehead. Sometimes I will treat these areas every night and only treat my entire face every other night. Spot treating was something I never thought of to do and it has helped me tremendously. Also, make sure to use a good quality moisturizer. Personally I like to add a drop of jojoba oil to my moisturizer because it simulates natural sebum so it kind of regulates how much oil your skin is going to produce when it gets dry. Dry skin tends to produce oil to lubricate itself and oil clogs pores causing the breakout cycle. This is why a lot of people, like myself, with dry skin have acne problems. These pads have been a great addition to my skin care routine and I truly can see a difference since I have started using them. I definitely recommend giving them a try and I will be back to purchase more in the future.

Changed my face!
Love this product, it completely changed the texture and glow of my face. After using this product I began to put makeup on without a foundation and have been receiving compliments on how nice my skin looks. And the price is very reasonable!

Staple product
Edited to remove 1 star-I found the 100 count to be a little drier compared to the 60 count, so I've went back to purchasing those going forward and have no issues. I've been using these pads for about 5+ years and I'll buy them as long as they are sold! I haven't found anything else on the market to compare even a little bit at this price point. The ingredients in these are amazing for exfoliation which turns into acne, scarring and wrinkle reduction and just overall glowy skin. Yes, they can be harsh if used too often before your skin is used to them, so I advise to start off slow and work to more frequent use. I started out using it at night 2x a week, now I use them 2x a day morning and night. It's the only thing I put on my face prior to makeup and there's no need for an additional moisturizer or primer. At night I use these first then any other creams on top. Please note-I also use Retin A on my skin about 2x a week so I DO NOT use these pads on those nights. I continue use the next am.

Comparison Review: Night Extreme vs. Daily Cleansing Pads
These Extreme pads are a true MUST-HAVE beauty item!!! I've ordered this product so many times I thought it time to write a review extolling the many benefits! I use these exfoliating pads on my face & neck as well as the backs of my arms where I get keratosis pilaris (aka. "chicken skin" see pic). I use them nightly and when I run out or forget for say, a week or so, my KP starts to come back so I KNOW they are VERY EFFECTIVE! About Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Pads in General: - Contains 60 pads, or 2 months worth if used once daily. - Very thin, kinda see-though - About the size of a standard cotton round, measuring 55mm diameter. - Premoistened damp but not dripping. - A slightly pocked texture makes them easy to hold onto & friction keeps them stuck to your fingers while applying. - The lid keeps them moist until the very last one (they don't dry out like other pads do). (WINNER) Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix NIGHT EXTREME pads: - Have a nice, very subtle almost citrus smell that feels fresh. - Contains AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) 5% Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acids for exfoliation of acne scars, wrinkles & sun damage - usually products contain anywhere from 2-20% so 5% is a little weak but good for daily use. - Contains BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) Salicylic Acid as an exfoliant for reducing active acne - usually found at a 2% concentration in more over-the-counter cosmetics. Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix DAILY CLEANSING pads: - Have a strong floral scent that is honestly a bit overwhelming; makes it hard to breath when using under the nose / upper lip. - Contains AHA Glycolic Acid but does not list the percentage so I'm going to guess it's minimal - just enough to use it as a sell point. - Contains Hyaluronic Acid which is an INCREDIBLE water-based hydration (moisturizer) that holds between 400x and 1000x its weight in water; Keeps collagen synthesis up, as well as retaining skin moisture; Used as an lip filler (injected). - Contains "Blue Daisy" which claims to soothe and calm the skin, but for me it just makes the pads very strong smelling. Also worth noting: The period-after-opening symbol or PAO symbol tells you how long the product "keeps" for once it is opened. The numbers inside usually tell you in months (such as "6M") how long the self-life is after opening. And for these pads, you have 6 months to use them or lose them (er, their promised efficacy at least). This is worth mentioning because that is a kinda short amount of time. Many products last for 24 months so just be aware of how long you've had them if you aren't using them every day. I use and love these pads and am totally obsessed. I also use them on my man's face when he has clogged pores. I've given them as gifts after letting a friends try them. I'd recommend them for pretty much any skin type since we all need a gentle exfoliant to keep our skin fresh & healthy. I plan to use these Nip + Fab Night Extreme Pads for the foreseeable future so they are very highly recommended!

DOUBLED their PRICE in less than 2 years!!
So I’ve been purchasing these for a while. I used to buy them from Ulta back in the day and then I found them on Amazon. They work great. They are gentle and really effective and last quite a bit. HOWEVER the reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because when I bought them they were $15.91. That’s WITH TAX. Now, they are selling for $28. The same pads, the same quantity, same everything. Though I think they could have been at $20 and still have some integrity…$28??? Are you serious? Nothing in the package or formula has changed. I use other products with the same ingredients (just different products) from Dermalogica that have not gone up in price, and they are a dermatologist developed and esthetician professional line. I think it’s taking advantage of their loyal customers, and it’s really sad to see a company do this. Even their smaller quantity pads went up in price. I would love to see them drop the price to a something a little more understandable, but doubling the price in under 2 years is a little ridiculous. You usually don’t see an increase like that even with inflation over the period of 5 years.

Close the lid tightly, product stays fresh and moist for years!
I am terrible about buying products and then not using them regularly. I accumulate a ton of products and I rotate what I use. For that reason, I can't say much about how well these pads work. I noticed I am down to the last 2 in the jar, so I looked them up. Amazon points out that I bought this current jar in 2019. They are still as moist and fresh as the day I bought them. They don't dry out, like makeup remover towelettes or baby wipes sometimes do. I am reordering this product, and I will try to use it more often!

Great product! Make sure to wear sunscreen!!
Can't explain how happy I am to find these! I absolutely loved the St. Ives exfoliating pads, but was super bummed when they discontinued them a few years ago. Was recently on a skincare forum and someone brought up how much they missed using the St. Ives pads, too, when another user suggested these. So glad they did! I actually like these more than the other one and am already seeing nice results after just a short use. They really plumped my face up and I look a few yrs younger, already, & my husband commented on how nice my skin is glowing! I only use it 2x a week in the pm right now, I cleanse, tone, then just swipe the product on, then moisturize. I'm definitely going to stock up on these to make sure I always have some on hand! I really like how it's AHA/BHA in one pad. I have sensitive combo skin & do just fine with these, just a very slight tingling afterwards. The scent is very citrusy but I don't mind it, at all, and the smell goes away pretty fast. I always suggest to others to wear sunscreen daily, but definitely MAKE SURE to wear sunscreen while using this product! This product will definitely make you more sensitive to the sun, so you'll need a good sunscreen to go along with it.
