Japanese I by Philippe Sainte-Laudy, 30x47-Inch Canvas Wall Art

This is a very nice image in a unique 5 panel layout... it's Glicee, meaning wide format inkjet printing on stretched canvas gallery wrapped.- the image quality is good, but not top quality... it's relatively low resolution that's been scaled up quite a bit... this isn't all that bad as it still looks good from a typical viewing distance- when appropriately lit with a halogen or quality LED spot it catches light well and looks very good- the Japanese theme, while not standing out in its photo here, is more pronounced when you see it in person- the gallery wrap is done well and was square in the set that I got- it was packed OK, but didn't have much padding and no fragile labeling- it's wrapped over very light pine stringers, but they are adequately assembled- it had easy to follow mounting directions to get exact placement- on the wall, with spacing , it takes up 40 h x 62 w... which sounds bigger than it is, so have an appropriate expectation of what type of wall space it will reasonably fillsignificantly, the canvas is a very light weight, much lighter than you see in normal artwork of this type, so the durability over time might be an issue... that being said, for gallery wrapped canvas of this size, the pricing is dirt cheap so it's a little unreasonable to expect archival level canvas and inkoverall I'm satisfied

I was worried about buying this piece without seeing it first, but was convinced to take a chance on it by the other five star reviews. Once again, I have total strangers to thank for something that I love! This really is a great piece: the colors are vivid, the canvas is stretched perfectly, and the light frame made it super easy to hang. I had it shipped straight to my office, knowing that I could easily return it if I didn't like it. That was clearly an unnecessary precaution because it was love at first sight! It really is the perfect addition to my rather boring office. It allowed me to personalize the space with a touch of color, while still looking professional and polished. I have already gotten numerous compliments on it from my co-workers, and it's only been up for one day!For anyone who may be interested, I uploaded a couple of pictures that I took on my i-phone so you can see what the colors look like "in real life." Even on an i-phone and under poor lighting conditions, you can see how closely this piece resembles the product pictures posted by the seller. Highly recommend!

This is a great, light weight piece of art. I wanted more red to match my pool table felt, but there really isn't much red at all. It is very bright yellwow and different shades of orange. I almost sent it back, but my boyfriend talked me into trying it. Somehow, the yellow doesn't look as obnoxious while hanging on the wall. It actually looks very nice hanging near my pool table so it is here to stay.

Since moving into my new place, I have had a blank spot on one of my walls. I have been looking at retail stores and online merchants for about 6 months with no success. A few days ago, Ifound this on Amazon and was blown away by how beautiful it was. Then I saw the price was slashed by 60% and it was a done deal! I ordered it, and the painting arrived about two days later. It arrived ready to hang. I hung it on the wall and WOW! It looks incredible. In full light it looks great, but when I dimmed the lights, it caused the darks to darken and the colors to pop, almost like it was glowing. This was a great purchase and is going to really class up the joint. I recommend this to anyone!

I love this painting. I purchased it from Amazon because I always got great deals from Amazon and I just knew due to the outrageous price cut on the advertised original price that I had gotten a great deal. Three months later I see the exact same painting online at Walmart that even offers different sizes. Boy did I get taken for a ride. I have always loved Amazon and the amazing deals I have gotten from them in the six years I have been shopping on their website. This is the first time I ever felt cheated by Amazon. The picture is definitely beautiful and is gorgeous on my wall and huge. Great Quality and it looks like a professional work of art. Just keep in mind you can purchase different sizes on Walmart and the pricing isn't much different from Amazon's.

NOT nearly as nice as it looks online. I had been looking at this (the 30 x 47 version) for months wanting it so bad. I have an orange living room. If this doesn't match a orange living room what does it match right? Well it doesn't match. The picture is mostly just a dark ring surrounding about 18' in the middle. It is pictured as very bright and see all that yellow showing through the trees? Not there on mine. Yeah I could have returned it because Amazon takes anything back BUT its so big and awkward and I tore up the box opening it. Sorry to say this is one of the worst things I ve bought from Amazon. Also on mine if you look at it from an angle you can see a line going across it about one third up I suspect the roll of canvas was almost out on the machine when mine was printed..To all you who rated so high more power to you or maybe yours was a different version size wise of mine but me again, I am very disappointed to have wanted something so long and finally getting it and then being so so so disappointed

Big nice art piece I used over my couch. It has this metal hanging device thingy inside the frame so it can hang on just 1 screw/nail, so no need to use the 3M velcro things to hang it up like I did.. But I didnt notice until I was done putting them on.Minus 1 star because it had a indent in the canvas that i noticed after hanging it up. (It might have been my fault, but not sure.) Anyways the indent went away and is unnoticeable now after it hung on the wall for a while.

I purchased this with high hopes, but definitely had my doubts (I'm pretty picky). The painting (print) was nicely packaged. Great price for this piece of artwork. It would be awesome if it were an oil painting, but bought it knowing it wasn't. If you look at the enlarged version, you can see the pixelation, which is noticeable on the real print, but barely. For under $100, I would buy it again. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
