excellent set
Do not hesitate to buy this set for kids interested in building. The manual gives full diagrams for a few of the models. All models full instructions are available online. We have a few Meccano sets at home. This one is great. It has many plastic pieces. The flexible plastic piece needs to be handled with care. 8 year olds should be able to make without adult assistance (a 7.5 year old with earlier exposure to meccano did it).

Great toy. My 6 year old loves it
Great toy. My 6 year old loves it. He is a dedicated builddr but definitely needs adult help, but we knew that going in so no surprises. Good bonding over the build.

Il y en a pour des jours a faire tous les modèles, donc plaisir au rendez-vous, les plans sont tres bons, certains modèles demandent une tres bonne dextérité, idéal pour un ado ou l' adulte que je suis

Meccano cumple
De niño había tenido un juego de Meccano. Es un producto que cumple al 100% en todo sentido: calidad de materiales, innovación, experiencia de usuario (Como cumple Lego). Lo compré para mis hijos, y estoy seguro que es un buen aporte para su inventiva y destreza. A diferencia de Lego, éste requiere más atención y destreza porque requiere el uso y manejo de tornillos y herramientas. Me gusta la versatilidad de la posibilidad de armar varios modelos. De mi parte muy satisfecho y lo recomiendo.

Modern Meccano
Bought for my grandson who's into aeroplanes etc. This kit is a mixture of plastic and metal parts but none the worse for that. Recommended for 8 yrs and up and certainly quite complicated to assemble ( I think an 8 yr old would struggle). I build quite a few various kits (robots etc) and found this quite challenging. The parts are well made and nicely thought out. Haven't had any Meccano since my childhood (over 60 yrs ago) but would recommend this modern version. As previous buyers have said only instructions for 3 models in the included booklet but more info online.

me gusta ,es entretenido lo malo es desarmar lo que has montado da pena,hay una avioneta que no de puede montar pues faltan material, la barra grande es corta y la de un ala tambien por lo tanto no se puede montar es con dos elices delanteras separadas y las alas traseras separadas espero me puedan solucionar al go , pues tienen que ser la barra central 2,5 cm mas larga y la barra del ala derecha lo mismo
