I used it with both, meat pieces and ground meat, and it worked fantastic. Preparations are quick and easy. This gizmo is the right size for 8 people (2 kebobs per person). I think that all of my friends got one after seeing me use it.

This handy device makes 16 identical kabobs. First time i used it we had great lamb shoulder kabobs on the grill. Just to be sure they push through after slicing, be sure to coat the inside with a little oil. I am surprised how thick the plastic is and how sturdy the skewer guides are. Works really good, the metal sticks are slippery and it's hard to turn them on the grill, we bought the wood wines, they fit the same and it's awesome

Go with something metal for this! I got this as a quick fix for kebabs and I needed it fast! However I'll probably never use it again because plastic pieces got in the steak from the knife Shaving the sides, that's also probably a bit user error but metal would be easier lol and kebab metal skewers from the store wouldn't fit in these little holes!

I saw a gadget like this on Facebook and found this one that would make 16. I make kabobs often enough that if this worked as it should it will come in handy. I bought some beef and marinated it a little, pounded it out a little and cut it to fit, I halved a green pepper and microwaved it to soften it and same with a few onion layers. I stacked up layers of meat and veg slide the skewers in and cut with the guides and there you have it 16 kabobs slick as ever! It cleaned up easily and seems very sturdy. I tested the holes and it will take bamboo skewers too so that will be nice for parties.

This is one awesome kabob tool! Easy to use and wipes clean in a jiff! The skewers could have a type of handle at the blunt end for easier holding, but I still give it a 5

My second one (the first one, a friend "borrowed" it from me), and works great. Simplifies the cutting process and all the pieces are the same size.
