My only issue is the metal piece on the end that held it together popped off. Easy solution just melted the nylon rope and formed a new end.

this is not what was pictured. the chalk holder of this item is a soft leather (or possibly pleather or maybe even nogahide) type thing and it is pretty damn difficult to get the chalk into it. it also does have the beads but they are not what they show. one is an 8 ball in the picture, they are just some decorative beads...no 8 ball.other than that, you get the idea of what it is. it works as expected, it holds your chalk and hangs from your pocket or whatever.

Have had others with metal links that always break. This one has lasted longer than any other.

Very nice leather chalk holder. Weighted pocket holder is just right to hold tightly in corner of pants pocket and pull easily when needed for use. I bought my friends one each.

Exactly my complaint.. I already have the one in the picture (I've had and used for 3 years, Works great) If you want the rubber chalk holder and the cool 8 Ball charms, dont buy this one..I wanted to to get a couple for my buddies on my team.. they arrived not at all like the picture.. braided leather holder.. and the string ripped right out the second week.. the ends are not tied,, they are burnt to a small head.. the string pulls right through the washer when bumped.. not enough string to tie a knot so just burnt a bigger ball at the end of string.. probably hit or miss if it will last..

Leather loosens up and chaulk falls out on floor
