If you are looking for a dry iron then this is the best in features namely for two reasons 1. Heavy weight-unlikely to have this key feature in any other dry iron 2. Golden sole plate (however don't know how much it will last). Steam iron have their own pitfalls namely water leakage require timely cleaning, instead dry iron is much better , use of water spray from a plastic spray water bottle is good enough. Have been using this iron for two months,best ironing results specially on those stubborn wrinkles.

This iron does the job what it's ment for, ironing with improper technique can actually damage the fabric. I was always in search for something that professionals use and all modren technology loaded steam irons are just not worth it. The heavy weight helps with a smooth sole plate a push is enough to slide it on the cloth. Tip: maintain it as per instructions and it will last longer than you expect. For superior iron quality damp your cloth.
