Anne of Green Gables, Complete 8-Book Bo

A very sweet tale told throughout this 8 part series. Transports the reader to an idyllic countryside. We move through the story as our protagonist grows from a hot-headed, impulsive, but good-hearted and imaginative little girl to a grown woman handling her family well.

Beautiful box set. Having all the volumes in it. First I read Anne of green gables in google play books and I liked her and all her silly mistakes. Moreover I can say that I fell in love with this character. So I bought this full box set.

After a long wait, due to COVID, finally received the product, the product is quite good

Packaging was damaged. Books were slightly folded. Pages quality not good at all. Books are also lossely binded.

I feel cost is more. IF any other offers better price then go for it.

I just love the series Anne is one favourite fictional character. Ordered this series a while back but the paper quality is not good at all. Not worth the money. Almost like they are selling pirated copies under original name. 2700 for this it's worth is only 500

I first read this series when I was about 20 years old. I am now re-reading this series at age 54. The books are just as delightful and captivating now as they were when I was younger. They are timeless! I get lost in the stories. Amusing... tragic... beautiful... fun... heart-warming... gut-wrenching - all the good stuff of life is alive in these books!

This is a classic Canadian masterpiece. Some might find the glimpses into pioneer life unrealistic, but I enjoy the outlines of the historical era depicted by the author, and the personalities that are so deftly portrayed by an author who seems to love her characters ... even the annoying ones! There is honesty within the narrative which offers an authentic balance between playfulness and pain. One is left with a deep impression of the joys and challenges of life.

When I started reading Anne of Green Gables, I had no idea what it was about. It opened up to me like a beautiful rose, as page after page taught me about childhood, about love, about sacrifice, and about heartache. I have never read a book so moving, so completely breathtaking in all its windings from one emotion to the next. I have only ever read one other book that moved me so completely. I shall remember the characters in this series of books for the rest of my life, and I know for certain that I will revisit Anne and her incredible family many, many times throughout the rest of my life, because for me they are like dear friends.If you have the chance, read this book series, because it is the one way you will see thru another person's eyes so completely and so clearly, in a way you could never imagine.
