I have a shinco smart Android TV. Its remote has gone bad. I searched a lot to get new nemote but I didn't get it. I tried to contact customer care, but no one answering the call. Finally I thought of trying this remote. It works like original remote. All the TV functions are working since it works through Bluetooth dongle. TV on off function was not working. I tried to IR learning but my old remote was completely dead. I kept on trying. Luckily my old remote on off button worked for only one time and this remote captured the data. Now TV on off function is also working. This remote really working like champ. I even love the design. My mother is also very exited & also she is very happy with this new remote. Thank Amazon, Redingrey & Selling zone for this amazing product.

Many apps dont support typing and this product simply of no use. Youtube typing works but many times it types multiple letters. hotstar doest support voot wont let you write netflix doesnt support. Mouse cursor is motion sensor-ed so it is very difficult to use. This product is just seating on table dusting . It doesnt support smart tv, rather I would say. Smart tv doesnt want us to use keyboard. Product might be good but its not for smart tvs.

It is definitely compatible with my Sony android tv. Best thing is almost all major functionality like power on/off, volume up/down, returns to home etc works fine. It consists of a manual, which has instructions for programming the power on button according to original remote. It has also air mouse which can be used for selecting any thing and a key board which helps searching anything or entertaining passwords, etc in the apps like amazon prime, netflix . However I have notices some time key board does not works with amazon for few functions or forward reverse not functioning for few movies. Best part is just recharge it like a phone. Once recharged run for 2 weeks minimum!

Average performance. Not long lasting option. Traditional remotes are more long lasting. It's not that much handy in practice.

Writing this review after using 2 months use, I have used this to my mi 4A 43inch tv and mi remote unable to use due to it’s very hard on pressing the buttons. This wechip keyboard Remote is very friendly to use, buttons are very helpful and all functions are working, we can type letters via keyboard for youtube, aha, Netflix, Hotstar but keyboard not working for prime. Also cursor moving and able to select the thumbnail but unable to scroll. Battery life is very good, i kept charging 2 times in two months no down time. Totally I’m satisfied with this product.

Don't go with this, Product is having all functionality and have great support to all the devices but the problem is with the design of the charging port. I have bought this twice, first one stopped changing after some months and wanted to go with another charger, so did not want to go for others as this supports all the required functionality, i have purchased once again the same thing. Same issue happend on the 2nd remote too. Then i inspected found that charger female pin inside the board is not designed well, when we put for charging those pin are deassemblying after few usages. So physical design wise charging port is not designed well. So go with other remote or have soldering iron with you always.

Works perfectly with TCL smart TV.

This seller used to sell genuine remotes earlier when IR learning etc and all other features worked perfectly. You’ll not be able to return this either. You can only get a replacement which is pointless. It seems now they’ve started to sell a cheap copy of the WeChip W1 remote, and no matter how hard you try, you’ll never be able to put the remote into IR Learning mode, and therefore the remote is totally useless for majority of people who want to control Android TVs etc that control volume or turn on & off using Infrared signal from the original remote.
