Enjoyed this book very much! The topics included are well covered, with many great examples. It is easy to understand, and is not tedious to read at all. I studied business administration already, but wanted to brush up on the topics since it has been a couple years. This one did a very good job!

Good content for a youngster starting to look at what they need to know for a simple business - or indeed any age with a simple business they need a quick guide to whys and wherefores of.

Gosh, this book turned out to be far more fascinating than I had guessed it would be. I mean, business.... sure, it is an important subject, but probably a bit dry, yes? Apparently not! I wanted to know a bit more about the basics of business. Whilst this book may not have covered exactly what I expected, it certainly delivered a really good read. My knowledge of business - and the history of business! - is now much better. I love the snippets about real people and businesses - so much more relatable than just theory. There is a lot of fascinating reading in here. I rationed myself to reading a bit every night, to make it last, hehe. Now I am planning to get more in the same range.

Interesting and readable book revealing some of the complexities of business.

Bought as a gift for a friend who's starting a business. I had a quick read through and I have to say it's a nice weighty hardback. Good quality glossy pages and filled with soundbites for sound business practices and pragmatic thinking.

Wonderful book, full of pictures and entities in which allows one to better understand business. BUSINESS 101 would be a higher educational value, as many classes go over many ways of which to get a business started, it's not easy however, many problems occur when one is starting a business of ones own, taking much time of which can be eliminated by entering the world of business through a University and or planned endeavor. I.E. Accounting, Psychology, Energy levels of employee's, as well as supplies and various situations of which one will run into. Where do I get the keys to the building of which my business will conduct itself, most people speak of grants, while others speak of loans, leaving one in a hole so to speak. It's not easy but can be done with the help and aid of the community.

I'm an international student hier in Germany and I'm studying BWL (business administration). It has helped me understand better the basics when I didn't quite understand it in German. This book really helps you understand concepts from starting a business to manage big Enterprises with strategies developed through the years by famous managers/economists/psychologists. This book helps you have a glance at the business world. It will answer questions like "how does a business grow?" "is it always good if a company grows?" "is money the most important motivational force?" There are so many questions that you will answer yourself and many of them that you didn't actually asked yourself before. Actual examples of modern companies and products make it also more interesting for the modern learner. I'm sure this book won't disappoint you if what you are looking for is to understand better how business works and the theories that can be applied to it and influence the way business are made (effectively).
