Excellent value, excellent product
These moistened, mildly flavored swabs have a number of uses but one of their most excellent applications is for anyone who has been - or remains - on oxygen, tube feeding or a ventilator or tracheostomy tube in the stages of weaning form a vent. When a person is unable to drink liquids for whatever reason, one of the most unpleasant and discouraging side effects is that the mouth, tongue and gums feel constantly parched and dry. These swabs relieve the dryness and refresh the mouth and can be used as often as desired. The swabs are packed in foil pouches, three per pouch, so they stay fresh and moist until needed, and can be stored for months. Many hospitals use them, but sometimes they run out, or perhaps a patient cannot quickly get someone to come assist them, so leaving a few pouches ni easy read allows the patient to use them whenever necessary. Highly recommended.

Really helps with dry mouth.
These swabs are great. They work so well if you have dry mouth. The lemon flavor isn’t harsh. I carry a pack in my purse because I always need to use a couple.

Mouth swabs
Love these swabs. So much better than the sponge ones. First tried them when I was in the hospital.

Much better than normal Healthcare swabs.
A friend told me about these in my mother used something similar to them while she was in the hospital. She's presently in hospice and the ones that they provide are horrible. These are so much better, although my mother thinks they're bitter. I tried one and they're fun there's just not a sweetness to them. The flavor is like a bitter lemon with a glycerin. You could add a sweetener of your choice with the exception of sugar. It might work better for you than other non-flavored mouth swabs

Simular to the ones the hospital gives you, only much better
Ideal for anyone recovering from throat cancer side effects and symptoms - these provide a comfortable way to remove excessive mucus and saliva. The lemony flavor is pleasant and no offensive odor - each mini pack inside has 3 swabs each with the glycerin-lemon coating. We have tried the green tip swabs typically provided by hospitals and these are far superior in taste , feel and overall value. We ordered them on a Tuesday and we had them by Thursday. - I just read in the reviews where someone is keeping them in the freezer which may be a good way to cool the mouth and could be great idea since they are glycerin they probably wont freeze.Of note: The mini packs inside are somewhat difficult for recovering patients to open as the individual packaging is very stout and not easily opened by compromised hands. Recommend a healthy set of hands to open them or have the patient use safety scissors to open the package. I hate to complain about strong packaging but thats the only downside for the patient... being able to get into the pouch for the refreshment.

MAMA LOVES THEM!
My Mama can't drink or eat for fear of her asperating on liquid or food so her mouth gets so dry from medicine to keep her saliva down. She is on a feeding tube. So these lemon flavored sticks works great to help alleviate the dryness. She sucks on them for a couple of hours at times. I totally recommend these for your loved ones!!

Does the job.
Does the job is about all I can say for the product. I can't taste any lemon flavor to the swabs whatsoever. They come three to a section, so once you open a section, you might want to put the rest of the pack into a sandwich baggie. The swabs are completely soaked, and when I opened a pack the first time, liquid poured out onto my nightgown. I did discover something really nice...put some in the refrigerator. The coldness feels good and a bit more refreshing than the room temperature ones. I'm going to try and freeze a couple just out of curiosity. You get what you pay for, and they are inexpensive.
