Hibiclens is a product I like to keep on hand because it works really well as an antiseptic cleanser. It has a gentle lather and cleans the skin thoroughly without feeling overly harsh. Even though it’s a strong antimicrobial wash, it still feels fairly mild on the skin when used as directed. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while. It’s easy to use and rinses off clean without leaving any residue. I also like that it’s commonly recommended in medical settings, which gives a little extra confidence in the product. Overall, it’s a reliable antiseptic cleanser that’s good to have available when you need a more thorough clean than a regular soap.

I got this as a protocol after surgery once & kept buying it ever since. It doesn’t have the most amazing smell, but it’s really not bad. (Smells more like a doctor’s office hand soap.) I use it first though & love it if I’m feeling like my soaps or body washes haven’t been getting me entirely clean. Works great to combat any unwanted smells by killing all that bad bacteria. My armpits are squeaky clean after this, & also great if you need a good nether-region clean maybe after your period or whatever. I also use before my regular facial or chest cleansers if I have any rashes or breakouts. Great stuff to have on hand!

I have HS, and this cleanser helps manage odor and infection with a clean, fresh scent that is gentle and non-irritating. I love how my skin feels after using it. My skin tolerates this cleanser really well, which is crucial for HS management, and since I’m also prone to episodes of some pretty severe allergic dermatitis that seems to come out of nowhere. I use it on some areas daily, other areas less than weekly, and just as needed. I’ve been using this for only a few months, wish I would have tried it years ago, and find that its effective as a cleanser and not as cost-prohibitive as the bleach wash I also occasionally use with flares. It does not prevent odor, nothing will with HS; but it makes it more manageable. I have purchased this many times and have not had issues with leaking. A little does go a long way, and a bottle this size has lasted me several months.

A staple in any shower. From pre-op washes to odor avoidance, Hibiclens is IT! It’s easily rinseable & lightweight? But packs a great punch against germs & odor. I love to use it after shaving to prevent ingrown hairs. Leaves you feeling clean & fresh. Strong without feeling harsh.

This cleans your skin nicely but there is no lather at all. I am on a weight loss journey and I got it for my skin rolls, I thought the foam would make it easier to use but it goes on and nothing. It does clean so that is why I still rated it a 4.

This is great! I have personally seen hebiclens is surgical prep rooms so you know that has to tell you something about it. The foaming is great and it just has that "clean" smell. This will kill any odor producing bacteria so it's great for your armpits, groin and buttocks too!

I recently had a toe amputated and one of my nurses recommended Hibiclens. This stuff is great. I only use it on my feet to help me not get another infection. It’s worth every penny.
